Ray was absolutely phenomenal with his immersive experience in Mismaloya. He knows the locals extremely well so when we went for my first time Spear fishing in Mexico he knew exactly where to take me. His knowledge of the wildlife and location made my experience spectacular. We ended up catching two fish within the first 30 mins of being in the water. He then taught me everything I needed to know about gutting and descaling it was a breeze. I ended up cooking up my fish with the locals on the beach and it made a phenomenal trip. I highly recommend his tours for all experience levels. He truly can accommodate anyone!

This was one of the best tropical experiences I have ever had. From horseback riding through streams up through a small mountain coming down to see some of puerto Vallarta’s finest views. We also took a boat about 30’mins out to a small town called Boca / incredible red snappers.
Rey made everything about the tour amazing. Being former military is his trained to keep you safe and comfortable while riding the horses.
I will be back again ! ( God willing )

I went spearfishing with Rey to a great secluded beach, with my wife and son in tow. Rey helped me to understand the fundamentals of spearfishing and I had the opportunity to get a few. My wife and son had a great time on the beach and even had an chanc to sup. Over all I would do it again in a heartbeat. Rey is friendly, nice and really knows the locals of the area, all which help to make the experience that much better.

Rey created a unique trip just for my 13 year old daughter. We rode to local waterfalls, on trails, through town, water and to the beach. He gave her pointers and feedback to help advance her riding skills. Rey prioritizes safety and customizing the adventure to meet your requests. We will absolutely book with him anytime we are in PVR.

Rey is a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. We had a great time with Rey. If you're looking for a nice and relaxing horse back riding experience so you can enjoy all sights and sounds of nature. Most people touring dont see as locals do then this is the tour for you. Lunch at a local spot was delicious. The massage at the end was a great finish touch. Don't miss your chance to see where they filmed predator the movie with the govenator. ILL BE BACK!!!

Hands down, this was the best part of our vacation. Rey was an amazing guide during our horseback riding adventure. You will experience the natural landscapes of PV. We traveled to waterfalls, wooded trails and scenic roads. The highlight of our horseback riding adventure was having drinks/lunch at a local eatery. The margaritas were amazing and the food was five star quality! I highly recommend this tour!

An amazing ride through the jungle with waterfalls and swimming holes. Rey took good care of us and showed us some wonderful local secrets. We had a day to remember.

Today we had a horse back riding with Rey. We had a wonderful time! Enjoyed the wilderness of the Jungle and appreciate the site seeing and stories behind it. Especially one with the “Predator” movie. We enjoyed chilling out in the restaurant and the refreshing swim in the little lake next to the waterfall. The Tequila we tested was delicious.
Although there were some challenges during the trip due to our incompetence, Rey patiently dealt with them. He made us feel very comfortable and safe. It just added a bit more spice to our jungle adventure.
We highly recommend Rey Spearo Adventure tours and definitely will do it again when we get back to Puerto Vallarta next time hopefully better fit.

Hey there, intrepid explorers!
First off, let's raise a glass of that fine tequila to your adventurous spirits – it's not every day you get to channel your inner 'Predator' and conquer the wilds of the jungle, right? And while we're at it, let's not forget those “challenges” you mentioned. I like to think of them as surprise bonus levels – you didn't just sign up for a horseback ride, you got a free test of endurance and character, too!
Seriously though, your kind words have got me grinning like I've found the last hidden waterfall in the jungle. Making sure you felt comfortable and safe was my top priority, even if that meant going slower than a three-toed sloth on a lazy Sunday. But hey, we all know a little spice makes everything nice – and it sounds like you've got enough to make your next trip a zesty one!
Can't wait to have you back for another round of Rey Spearo's special blend of wilderness adventure (and maybe a fitness challenge, wink wink). Till then, keep those adventure boots ready and the tequila on standby.
Stay wild, stay safe, and remember – in Rey's jungle, the only thing we take seriously is having a good time!

Words cannot explain.. AWWWW'SOMMMEEEEE!!!!
My daughter ( 10yrs old) & I ( 43yrs old) had a blast!! Ray gives excellent direction/instructions on how to ride the horses.. His joyful/enlightening energy helps if you're nervous in any way, (Does help tho if you know how to ride a horse-) but Ray is present & observant-there to help right away... My favorite part was the river crossings ( loved my horse-she was sweet & sassy)... & of course my daughter's was riding the little horse...
The scenery is breath taking!! Sooo, put on yo'rid'n gear & get ready to have a GREAT experience!!!

Rey is a very insightful, personable and entertaining guide who we enjoyed the entire time we were with him. From basic horse knowledge to life stories, he keeps you entertained and enlightened on what is going on in and around south PV. Our horses were very well kept and not "stable" horses either. Halfway through ride we stopped by the restaurant/theme park which was great. Just wear long pants, horse flies will bite suck your legs dry if you wear shorts. Great adventure.

I do try to keep things interesting and informative, whether it's with horse knowledge or personal stories. And of course, the scenery around Mismaloya is always a pleasure to take in. As for those pesky horse flies, I always recommend long pants - they may not be the most fashionable choice, but they certainly beat getting your legs sucked dry! And how cool is it that we got to stop at the set of the first "Predator" movie? I'm glad you had a great adventure with us. Come back and ride with us again soon!

I understand it’s a three hour duration but how long are we actually going to be on the horse? My husband is kind of afraid that it’s the whole three hours, he’s looking out for his bottom.😜

Coming in June - While my wife grew up on a horse, I did not. We have ridden a couple of times ( I am 65) but I needed a stool or rock to get on and off. Is this possible
