River Bugs is a interesting way to go white water rafting, as instead of being in a big raft with several others, you are instead going head down the rapids, on your own, on a glorified float. Its fun, its exciting, our guide was great. But maybe consider doing it in the summer, rather than October as the River Dee is a cold beastie at that time of year.
Definitely recommend giving it a go though.

Had a great time on the river bugs. Definitely plan to visit again in the future and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys that type of activity.

We all had a great time, was really good fun. One nervous person in the group and the instructor Ali made sure they were looked after throughout so put them at ease, making it a really enjoyable experience for all. Really fun activity, would reccomend.

An absolutely fantastic day out with friends. Went for a friend’s birthday for a day out with the lads. Friendly instructors that made the day thoroughly enjoyable even with the changeable weather conditions. All gear was provided including wetsuits, waterproof socks and gloves to make you as warm as you could expect for an activity in the open water in October.

Amazing day, brilliant experience flying down the river on the bug. The instructors were great with our group which varied in abilities, but all had a fantastic time.

Easy to arrange, Rhonda was brilliant and very helpful. Great morning out. Fun at any level. The guides were great and let us get the most out of it.

What a fantastic experience. Water bugs was fun and exciting way to spend a couple of hours. The guide was fun and very professional. Keeping us safe while making it a brilliant experience. We’ve only just stopped laughing about it and dried out ;)

Absolutely fantastic. Really easy to book. I had to email as we used a Virgin experience voucher. The assistant was really helpful and very quick at responding. Although they couldn’t fit us in on the day I initially asked for, they had availability the weekend before, which was great. Make sure you book well in advance as it’s very popular. We were a group of three, one adult and two teenagers, as well as others in our group. Easy to find the meeting point and a good tip would be to book your parking in advance. We used ‘your parking space.co.uk’ and booked for the whole day at the co op car park. It was a 5 min walk away but only cost about £2.50. Book in advance though, as there used to be a maximum number of spaces. The instructor was brilliant.
