The kids especially enjoyed the water slide and the splash pad. It was fairly crowded on the weekend, even in offseason April. We enjoyed the hot tub.

Our family had a nice experience at Plunge. The water temperatures were very warm in all pools and the hot tub was a soothing heat. The staff was great, they let kids be kids and only interjected if there was a genuine safety concern like diving in shallow water. The waterslide was a hit with our kids. The cost is expensive, I recommend carving out 2-4 hours here to get the best bang for your buck. We plan on coming back again.

$93 for a family of 4 for 2 hours. Get better at city pools for way less. Too many people for the space. Not enough chairs. Lockers are too small. ADULTS need to pass a swim test to go into the deeper pools. Kids' play equipment is old. This is a normal pool. The only thing that make it special is that half of it is outside and it is in Blue Mountain Village. That does NOT justifie the price.

This is a disappointing response. We would like to turn this into Teachable / Coachable opportunity. Please email us at mail@bluemountain.ca so we can reinstate your confidence in us.

Better experience than expected at fair price. Fun swimming while watching skiers. Lifeguards friendly, as were all staff. Better time than when I went in summertime, which was not worth price that was higher than now.

Please do yourself a favour and don't go. Super filthy, rude staff, dead animals in hot tub, i cant make this crap up. A guest finally started cleaning the dead animals out of the hot tub while staff members sat back and gawked. Couldn't pay me to go back. I had low expectations going in, but i rate this pool 1/10.......its not an aquatic centre.... It has one slide, lazy staff and dirty filth everywhere

Absolutely not. Whatever you do, this place is NOT WORTH IT, especially during COVID. Waited 35 minutes outside with a pre booked time slot… got there and found out the splash pad was inoperable ( I mean, would have been good to know prior, but I can see past that). The change rooms are grungy, the pool deck feels dirty and the smell of the pool was awful. This has nothing to do with the kind people working there- they are simply doing their job, but more so the establishment. There has to be a quicker way to move people through. Also, the information they give people is wrong. I heard so many walk-ins standing in line saying that they were told the pool is booked weeks ahead of time- FALSE. Actually, Blue Mountains main hotline also gives incorrect information. They told me PLUNGE reservations open up 3 days before… incorrect, I by fluke booked a reservation almost 5 days before my stay! Literally when the spots opened up. Then they tell people to walk in but not to come ahead of time- also false. They only allow in approx 30 people on walk in and there are people waiting in line from 9am. It’s just not worth it for the 90 min time slot you get

We were super excited about visiting blue mountain this week. The kids were really looking forward to going to the Plunge. I logged into the portal to book at 10:01am and ALL of the slots were taken. Why sell more tickets than people that can actually reserve spots?
I would not have bought the play all day pass if I knew this was going to be the case.

Buyer Beware! Plunge and Blue Mountain oversell tickets to Plunge knowing full well they can not accomodate all the online ticket sales they do. We purchased tickets 3 weeks in advance to Plunge for a specific date. Instructions on their website were to go online the day we had booked to pick our timeslot. During the 3 week period before we arrived they changed their booking policy to allow you to book your timeslot ahead of time. They did this without notifying anyone who'd previously bought tickets. So, of course when we went online to book our timeslot it was full. When speaking with both Blue Mountain and Plunge customer service they admitted they oversell tickets to Plunge in the 100's!! (that's a quote) knowing they can only accomodate 40 people per timeslot due to COVID. It is unbelievable that they continue to oversell tickets for a service they are fully aware they can not provide. Do not give your money to a company that has such disgredard for its would be patrons!

I have been to Plunge! many times in the past ten years as my son (9) and friends’ kids love it. It’s a great place to spend a few hours to let them burn off some energy. However, on my last trip, this past Sunday, I spent the usual amount of time in the pools and hot tubs. My son played primarily in the pools, I spent more time in the hot tubs than he did. That night we got home I broke out in a bumpy, insanely itchy rash that even kept me from sleeping. This continued until yesterday. I have used about a third of a bottle of calamine lotion in order to keep from losing my mind. I don’t know if I will go back as there is obviously something wrong with the chemical balance in the water...

Thank you for your review. Plunge has recently switched from Chlorine to Bromine in all of the pools and hot tubs. We have since reviewed the chemical tests from the day of your visit. All of the chemical levels were balanced and within the legal parameters for safe pool operation. We sincerely apologize for the unfortunate reaction you had to the water. We hope you will visit again soon!

Our 2 year old had a great time swimming at the plunge this past weekend. He loved the little splash pad and all the bubbles in the one corner of the pool. Great way to spend some family time. We got a day pass and went swimming several times. For the high price that they charge to go swimming, the change rooms are run-down and dirty, and the lady at the desk warned us that beware, they don't always have towels so we're best to bring our own. The towels that we were provided were small and worn. We had a good time, but the facility could use some work.

What age group is the water park geared to? Our kids are 13 & 11, are they too old to enjoy it?

Not at all. There are activities for older kids in the outdoor pool as well. A dive board and rope where they can swing and jump in etc.

What temp is the pool heated in the May months. Is it safe for pregnant women?

Not too sure about May - you may want to call them directly to ask. When we were there in March, there was still snow on the ground and it was quite cold outside, so the pool temp was about 90 degrees. I would imagine with warmer weather would come cooler pool temps, but you could call to be sure.

We are interested in booking a family vacation as a surprise for our kids, but are unable to find winter hours for Plunge. Will it be open during the day on weekdays, if we attended during the week? It looks like a great time!
