The caves at Two Foot Bay is one of the stops on the Barbuda Express and while the caves themselves are pleasant, the reason to come is for the views from above. You need to head up through the cave. It's not a difficult climb but its best not to do it in flip flops. Once on top you get spectacular views of the coastline and the rocks below. The walk from the car park is quite exposed and hot so take some water.

Great to explore, with fabulous rock formations. You can drive to a certain point, then have to hike. It is a steep climb and quite unstable to get to the top so be aware if that.

Like a lot of places on Barbuda this place is virtually in touched and ruined by humans yet. The caves are gorgeous. Nature at its finest. Rocks fall from time to time. Even big ones. Walk up the cave to the top and see breathtaking views of the east coast. Beautiful place

A twenty minutes drive from Barbuda Cottages but a spectacular view that can't be missed I go there each time I am in Barbuda and venture up the cave that takes you to the top of the cliff for one of the best views of the Ocean on the Island. I never tire of the view.

I came to Barbuda with a ferry from Antigua for just one day trip. I wanted to hike to the caves and I did it, but when I came there was one local guide who told me that I cannot enter to the caves, because they are still damages caused by the hurricane. I was very disappointed.

I spent a day with Levi John and Enoch who gladly showed around the island for a fee. It included a tour of the village, the caves, the pink sand beaches, the bird sanctuary and snorkeling on Princess Diana Beach. It also included drinks and a very tasty lunch. As a solo traveler who traveled there with two other female travelers, I enjoyed my experience and felt safe. I highly recommend to contact Levi John at + 1 268 723-5012 through WhatsApp to have the whole tour.

This is just a few minute walk up from the beach through a cave to the top of the hill. Shoes are good but a few of us did it in flip flops (not recommended if you are unsure on your feet). The drive to the bay and the views are just lovely and well worth it!

My kids, husband and I did this as part of the Barbuda Express Day Tour Package. My daughter insisted on doing a hike and this was the easiest and closest thing to it!
Our tour guide met us at the ferry stop down at the port in Barbuda. We were quite please with him - Imron. We drove across the small island before getting to the site and given the terrain and the absence of visible signs I would recommend a tour guide in order to find and traverse the caves.
We were pleased with the bit of climbing that was necessary. Though you initially walk in and through the caves, you have to do some climbing to get to the top. We left our belongings in the van (quite safe) and took only our camera and water bottles. So maybe have a small knapsack or if you can put your bottle and camera in your pocket, then your hands can be free to help you up. But PLEASE take water as it was extremely hot!!!
Our guide did provide additional water and he was quite helpful in showing the way and pointing out where to best put our hands and feet to make the climb easier. This is not a difficult climb - as our group included teenagers and over 60 vacationers but I would not recommend the climb for the younger ones given the small crevices and cracks that little feet can get stuck in. Our guide did indicate though that the climb was optional so you can be content with just walking around in the lower part of the caves.
Once at the top - I did not expect that we would emerge overlooking Two Foot Bay! The view is breathtakingly gorgeous even though this is the rougher Atlantic side of the island. Even the landscape at the top is interesting for it is dotted with beautiful wild cacti and shrubs. Though we saw the donkey droppings, sadly we did not get to see the wild herd that traverse this area! Maybe next time!
The view provided an opportunity for many memorable and picturesque family pics! It is more than worth the little sweat!
