Truly locals spots
Fantastic taco tour of the truly locals taco spots. Nothing fusion about these tacos - good clean authentic tacos. I loved how we ended the night with popsicles!

Memo was amazing! I would highly recommend him. We had a senior that walked slower, and he accommodated. He has lived here for 17 years. It was incredible. We went to 6 places. We did the pay what you want tour and just pay for your food. This was perfect for our group of 7.

Great morning tour
We have been coming to Puerto Vallarta for over 10 years and have never done a taco tour. It was such a fun morning. We learned so much and Memo was so informative. He was so informative and made the morning fly by. He also gave us great tips for the test of our vacation. We definitely recommend that you do this tour. We will definitely do another one next year.

Silent Malecón Statue Tour

Memo was a spectacular guide for the Silent Malecón Statue Tour. Loved the ability to listen to Memo describe all of the various statues, their titles, their artists and the stories about each. With the headphones we were able to walk around viewing the statues in their entirety, take various pictures or sit in the shade without losing Memo’s wonderful stories or standing near enough to hear him. What a marvelous experience! If you’re in Puerto Vallarta and want an enjoyable couple of hours hearing all about the Malecón Statues, contact Vallarta101. You won’t regret it! I heard from many in the tour to take all of Memo’s tours. He’s that good!

Amazing experience with Vallarta101

We had such a fun afternoon exploring and immersing ourselves in the taco history and culture in PV. Memo was the consummate tour guide, providing the history of each taco establishment as well as recommendations of what to eat and then how to eat it. As a Texan I thought I knew my way around a taco, but without giving away any big tour spoilers, let's just say that Memo gently schooled us and we are the better for taking this tour! :) If you are a fellow foodie, don't hesitate - do this tour! We wish we would have had time to do some of the other tours offered by Vallarta101, they will be top on the list for next time we travel to the PV area.

Delicious tacos and very informative. We got a real feel for the locals and their cuisine. The guide was great!!

Silent Malecon Statue Tour

The tour of the Malecon statues was well presented, informative and the guide (Memo) was very personable. They are now offering a silent tour using headphones that receive the guide's presentation thru a microphone. You hear just the guide, no interference from other tourists talking. You can wonder freely looking at the art (or the view) while listening to your guide and your not straining to hear. I loved it! Their professionalism will have me using them for all their tours.

Taco Tour a Culinary Delight

What an amazing culinary tour. Lalo, our tour guide, created a fun filled informative atmosphere that allowed us to explore and experience the best of tacos in Puerto Vallarta. An easy two hour + tour on foot brought us to exceptional taco shops ending with a tasty treat of hand crafted ice cream. Lalo is engaging and delicious informative host who made us feel right at home. This is a must for people wanting to explore PV.

Please do this tour! Great tacos that I would have never found or tried on my own. Memo is such a great, informative guide and you will learn SOOOO MUCH about the food and culture in PV. I had my three teens with me the first time and they enjoyed themselves as well. I had such a good time that I returned a month later with my partner & we did the Taco102. You pay for all you eat/drink and tip your guide a fair amount at the end. Such an amazing value and an unforgettable experience. We met some great fellow tourists as well. I will definitely be back for Taco103!

A definite highlight of our trip

Memo’s your was an absolute highlight. Every spot was so delicious and we never would have found them on our own. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone visiting.
