Зашла в этот музей в ожидании экскурсии в находящийся рядом подземный музей. Ни одного посетителя, из персонала - только кассир на входе. Помимо обычных археологических и этнографических экспонатов в музее часть экспозиции посвящена учителю, жившему в Пернике в 20-х годах прошлого века, период его промышленного и социального подъема. Ознакомилась с интересом о создании литературного и музыкального кружков и организации туристического движения в этом регионе.

The museum its small but good made . Downstairs are the findings from the region , upstairs are the fossils. The Oldest fish find in Bulgaria .30 milion year old very well preserved . Olso the stoned tree 30 milion year old find in the mines . Really nice place to visit . Dont forget to visit The real mine museum -next to this museum.Buy tickets in the regional museum .

le musée et trés bien et mérite la visite pour mieux connaitre cette région qui fut comme le nord de la france trés prospère il y a 40 années.

Having lived in Pernik District for ten years I have only just discovered this museum! It is small, and anything but busy, however it is worth a short look for a mere 2лв fee.
The first gallery about ancient history of the region has been translated and has good quality signage in English. The second gallery was only in Bulgarian and focused on more recent history and artefacts. The third gallery showed various costumes and housewares.....and had no signage!
There is also a really interesting display (partly American funded), that shows armoury and small arms through history which also really interesting.

This is a great place to go if you are in Pernik. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We went here after visiting the mine museum next door. The exhibits are not in English yet, but we had a guide and my girlfriend is Bulgarian, so all was well. The museum goes through the history of the region of Pernik with the military and also cultural history. Great place to go!
