Just had lunch there. Food was dry/over cooked, no real welcome and overpriced. Only saviour was the cleanliness

Booked a meal for two for 7:30 on a Friday evening. Bit of a wait but when the food arrived it was fantastic-Korean spare ribs with chips, and chicken, leek and hock pie with mash. Every part of the meal and service was top class. Sam was efficient and friendly. The beer was spot on for a hot summer’s day. This pub has improved so much.

When we came to the Cambridge Arms for Sunday lunch - the food was delicious at a reasonable price, and even after being told the food may take a while it still arrived promply!
They have a small carpark and a ramp into one of their entrances, which made it easily accessible for one of our group who has difficulty walking.
Thank you so much to Felicity for the wonderful service, and thank you to the chefs for our awesome food!!

It was a surprise party for my friend’s 30th birthday. All the way up to the party all staff I had contact with were amazing. When we arrived, every member of staff went above and beyond to make it a really great evening. Couldn’t recommend the team enough!

We were very happy to be able to return to the pub, even if it meant sheltering from torrential rain under a parasol. Staff were really helpful and friendly, and it all felt covid safe. Bratwurst was tasty. We’ll be back!

Wonderful dog friendly pub, staff really helpful, food lovely and a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Lunchtime meals 2 for £10 and lots of options.

A brilliant friendly pub! Kelly; partner of the owner, makes everyone feel at home! Such a good pub, massive garden which is such a bonus! Kid friendly, dog friendly... what more could you want! Got some good booze on draught and good for a local! Thank you Cambridge Arms!

I live very close to the pub and usually enjoy the friendly vibrant atmosphere when meeting friends for drinks etc.
However, I popped in for a quick impromptu lunch with my husband today and was very disappointed with the food.
The lunch deal is very competitively priced but was very poor today. I ordered a jacket potato with cheese and beans. When this arrived the potato wasn’t fully cooked . I returned it and they offered to cook another. I then sat and watched my husband eat his lunch. Being short of time this wasn’t great. I wasn’t offered a drink or alternative while they were preparing another potato.
When the second potato arrived it also wasn’t cooked properly. I left without eating any lunch. I will make the effort to go slightly further afield for better quality food in future.
