Brilliant afternoon spent on the Owl Experience. 90 minutes of learning about owls and handling them. Our granddaughter was delighted and hasn’t stopped talking about it. We booked through Wowcher for her and my husband and I managed to get a spectator ticket for £10. Really good value. Lisa and Steve are so passionate about the birds and their care, highly recommended.

Lovely afternoon today spent at Shropshire Falconry for the Owl Experience session. Just over 90 minutes with five owls who freely fly around the indoor arena, settling on the glove or on the knee (if you are sitting, obv) for photos. This was followed by Viper the Peregrine getting his daily fly outside in the paddock, which is again super spectacular. Lisa and Steve are really approachable and friendly, we will certainly be back again for another visit.

Steve & Lisa are so passionate about their birds, totally brought the experience to life.

Today I have just came back from a wonderful experience with Steve from Shropshire falconery. My dad only booked this walk for us today and at very short notice and they were able to take us on the walk today which was fantastic news for us.
We went on a Hawk walk! With 2 male Harris Hawks named Ivan and Carl. Both birds were really well behaved and made the walk through Hawkstone follies really enjoyable and fun.
I definitely think the hawk walk is worth it since the walk is great exercise yet at the same time you getting to feed and hold a hawk. Also, watch it fly around the woods and perch on trees.
It wasn’t just us that enjoyed the walk Ivan and Carl loved it just as much. They loved landing on the glove taking the food off us and they both loved trying to hide in the trees.
I really really enjoyed the walk and highly recommend that people book

Well if I could give more star rating I would !!
What a fantastic morning with Steve & Lisa such lovely people very down to earth and great with the Birds.
We had booked the Owl Experience and due to the weather thought it may be cancelled but they have the indoor area which was great. We got plenty of time with them and took lots of photos ( we checked we could do this before hand so not to upset the Owls) we also learnt alot you about them you can see how much they are cared for.
Thank you so much Steve & Lisa for a lovely morning hubby was so made up 👍😊

Shropshire falconry is a must visit if you have even a mild interest in birds. Steve and Lisa are wonderful hosts, they are really down to earth friendly people and their passion for birds shines through. Steve and Lisa both really take their time to get to know you and I felt incredibly comfortable. I am usually a very anxious person but I was so at ease.
I met 7 different birds and they were all so well trained and had lovely temperaments. The bonds they had with Steve and Lisa were incredible and you could tell how passionate they both are at what they do.
They conspired with my (now) fiance and orchestrated an unforgettable marriage proposal with the ring being flown over to me by Mojo the Owl and of course, I said yes. It was a wonderful experience that I will remember for the rest of my life.
Thank you again Steve and Lisa for making our engagement the most special moment.

We did a Jessops photography experience here, a 2nd one as we enjoyed the first one do much. Steve and Lisa are great with the birds and very caring with them, if the bird didn't want to pose, as it happened on our visit, it was put back in its cage and not made to stay out and get stressed. It was a great day and we came away with some brilliant photos

I booked a hawk walk experience for two for my father's birthday present at Hawkstone Park.
Steve met us promptly - the walk was about 1-2 hours, kindly tailored not to be too strenuous (for our needs), but still a beautiful stroll through woodland with lots of flying opportunities.
The experience is one of the best things we have ever done! Steve was so personable, friendly and easy to get along with. He is incredibly knowledgeable about birds and wildlife in general. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer and he also told us fascinating history of birds of prey as well as the story behind some well known phrases!
Our hawk for the walk (Ivan) was in beautiful condition. It was really important to me that we chose a company that clearly cared about the birds, took excellent care of them and had a genuine passion for their welfare and conservation. Steve (and Ivan!) definitely demonstrated this.
What a fantastic experience - highly recommended and a huge thank you to Steve and Ivan for creating such a special experience for me and my father to share.

We have had an amazing time here we have been 3 times now and haven’t been disappointed once Lisa (our guide/owner was amazing and so much knowledge would highly recommended coming here
