Nos deleitaremos con algunos de los secretos y misterios de Sintra, veremos los monumentos más bellos de la región y escaparemos de todas las trampas turísticas comunes saliendo de la CARRETERA por algunas partes del recorrido, en una experiencia divertida y cultural. En nuestro camino hacia Cabo da Roca, el punto más occidental de Europa continental, a lo largo de algunos senderos ocultos del parque, nos detendremos en impresionantes miradores para ver la belleza de la costa portuguesa. En Guincho Beach, tendrás la oportunidad de probar nuestra típica receta local "centenaria" de pasteles "Travesseiro" y la bebida casera "Ginja". Terminaremos en la hermosa ciudad costera de Cascais. ¿Por qué esta gira es tan genial y popular? Estaremos montando un impresionante Jeep portugués en un divertido y emocionante recorrido por esta ciudad Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Sintra Half Day: Quinta da Regaleira
We love Sintra. Like, really LOVE it. But even we can admit It has one big problem. Once you start exploring this enchanting patch of the world, it’s almost impossible to stop, and we know a lot of you don’t have the time to spend days and days exploring every last forest track like we did as kids. Luckily, you still have time to see a mysterious garden and palace, surrounded by metaphor and myth, that many think is even more spectacular than its more famous red-and-yellow cousin. We’re talking about Quinta da Regaleira.
With our jeep we’ll drive by historic palaces (Sintra National Palace, Seteais Palace, Monserrate, Pena Palace) and the 8th-century Moorish Castle, sharing the best legends and facts about each monument before stepping inside the magical Quinta da Regaleira. Afterwards you’ll have worked up an appetite – and we couldn’t let you leave here without tasting Sintra’s own traditional sweet pastry.
Our half-day journey finishes at 1.30pm.

Atlantic Coast with a Local Host
In just one day we’ll roll up the wild, wild west coast in one of our restored convertible vintage Portuguese UMM jeeps. We’ll start the day watching surfers catch seemingly endless barrels at the famous Guincho Beach before we head off-road hitting dirt tracks inland.
Now that you’ve got your bearings of the land, we’ll hop back in the jeep where you’ll feel the wind in your hair as we return to the coast. More specifically, the “edge of the earth”. Cabo da Roca’s sheer cliffs and lighthouse mark the westernmost point on mainland Europe.
After ticking off this bucket-list spot we’ll sneak over to our secret viewpoint and explore the “Buraco do Fojo”, a really cool natural sight that only locals know about.
From there, the only thing left to do is sink our toes into the soft golden sands of the incredible wild beaches of Sintra. We’ll work our way from Praia Grande to Praia das Maças, and finally Azenhas do Mar. Take a moment to soak it in before we drop you at Sintra train station.

Magical Forest Hike + Picnic in Sintra
This adventure combines the best of both worlds.
We’ll drive through historic Sintra town, turning off-road to reach the incredible 12th-century Santuario da Peninha. From the convent on the hill enjoy incredible and expansive views down to Cascais, Lisbon, Sintra while you lace up those boots. This two-hour hike wanders through (what we think is) one of the most amazing and mystical forests in the world. Up here on the mountain, a microclimate allows all types of plants and trees from around the globe to grow, from pines to ferns, plus some mysterious secrets.
Halfway through the forest walk we’ll reach a megalithic structure that is essentially Portugal’s Stonehenge. Sitting 426 metres above sea level, its origins are a real mystery but there are theories. Next we’ll uncover an ancient collective grave from between 2500-1500BC that has its fair share of myths and legends surrounding it.

Country to Coast: Animals, Market & Picnic
Portuguese people love two things more than anything: the beach and food. In this full-day journey we combine the two by finishing with a picnic on the beach. But first, we get our hands dirty.
Farmer’s markets are best in the morning, so we’ll pick you up in one of our legendary jeeps and roll straight over to hunt and gather the freshest local ingredients to craft an epic Portuguese picnic. Think cured meats, local cheese, fresh bread and ingredients for salad.
After we’ll head to our mate Joao’s farm to meet and greet his furry and feathered friends. Here you’ll learn about his animals and you’ll get to brush a donkey or pony, pet rabbits, feed a goat, say hi to sheep and see a mini pig from Vietnam. All things that make us happy!
Then we’ll swap the countryside for the coastline when we take our farmers’ market picnic to Magoito Beach. You might have 99 problems, but a beach ain’t one.

Our restored ex-military vintage 4WDs look cool as hell but they’re also the best way to tackle the terrain in the wild, wild west. Our favourite unmarked secret trails will lead us to remote natural and built monuments that no other tourists ever reach. From untouched lakes to ancient hilltop convents, we’ll pull up at the coolest hidden gems and chase non-stop adventure in Sintra-Cascais Natural Park.
