Ms Anna at HTS organised a private custom day tour to Halong Bay. The ride to the bay was on the old road which was an experience with the kamakazi driver. Great scenery of semi rural Vietnam. Cruise was amazing with one of the only air conditioned boats and a great seafood lunch. One friend is a vegan and she was we catered for with prior notice. Wear good walking shoes as 2 of the stops include some fairly strenuous walking. 1st was up to the top of the hill on a small island 427steps. The 2nd is through an amazing cave system with quite a climb and and down. Took main highway back to Hanoi which was about 1.5hours faster. Great day. Hihky recommend and Ms Anna is fantastic.

Visited Danang as one of our stops in a recent cruise onboard the Silver Muse. Once in Danang we were met by Mr. Duc Nguyen who then took us to the ancient city of Hoi An. Hoi An is a very picturesque town, a part of which is a walled city with shops and house lining the different canals. There are shop houses specializing in silk products that are really beautiful. Highly recommended if you happen to be at Danang as a port stop, this is about a 45-60 minute drive from the port, depending on how much traffic you encounter. There are also several beach side resorts that you will pass as you go from Danang to Hoi An.

First time at Hanoi. Our 6D5N trip includes an overnight cruise at Halong Bay. We totally enjoyed it. The foods on board the cruise. The day and night scenery was really beautiful. Views on top one of the island was great too. Lots of construction and resorts development in progress. I WILL BE BACK! Cheers
