Lovely atmosphere, good range of drinks, comfortable seating. There's a good range of food on the menu and specials board and very reasonably priced. We ordered a range of meals and everything was very good. Sirloin steak was excellent and loved that mushrooms and onion rings came with it as standard. A very enjoyable evening, can't wait to return.

To be told that you only allowed guide dogs in the pub and not service dogs when they provide the exact same level of assistance was very disheartening and will deter many veterans suffering with PTSD to give your pub a miss.
The service today was very poor and you where very lucky that we didn’t just walk away without paying. As I know some people would of with the lack of attention we saw from the staff.
Portion sizes
the starters one chicken plate had three the other had four!!
The mains there was a lot more lamb meat than beef and pork.
The deserts all three sticky toffee puddings had a very small portion compared to the jam sponge that came out.
To be fair the food was nice but I won’t be in a rush to come back!!!

Brilliant pub.
Pete the Tennant and his partner has got is sussed. Good pint and food can not fault it.
It's such a shame the new owners of the building have kicked them out. They have 6 weeks to leave.
Who ever you are you need to be ashamed of you selves. All the local are quitting the pub in sis weeks in protest.

Me and a friend arrived at the pub without a table booked on the day of reopening, the fantastic staff managed to find us a table and we had a superb day, despite the wind and rain. Absolutely stunning food - atmosphere to match and service to match the occasion. Can not recommend enough!

It was good location, plenty of free parking at the back of the restaurant. Beautiful ambience, delicious food, excellent service. They have daily specials on the board besides their own menu. Just my chilli con carne don’t have much beef in it, it’s more on kidney beans (not great level on it) I celebrate my birthday on this restaurant, not bad at all. Overall was a good food and location.

This is a favourite of locals living in the village. Older people during the day then a younger crowd in the evenings when they have regular live music. It is not a sports bar but they will show football, rugby etc if requested. They have just started a snooker/pool club in a separate building located in the beer garden. The management is very responsive to requests or suggestions made by customers. It does not sell food but will provide a buffet for specific events. Good range of beers including real ales.

Cheap drinks, friendly staff, good atmosphere and live bands every now and then! Good pub for all ages!

Since taking over in 2016 Pete and his team have made the White Hart the place to go for good beers, great service and entertainment all at a reasonable price. A variety of talented local bands play on Friday evenings, the pub offers darts and pool at the rear bar and all major sporting events shown on TV. A tradition village pub retaining the wood panelling and traditional bar. Highly recommended.

We went with friends for Friday band night, it was good night , band was awesome, good music, drink are reasonable.

A few years back this was one of those pubs which could have gone either way but thankfully a keen new management team have made the necessary changes and it's now becoming a bit of a favourite with many. A traditional village pub ( maybe the only one left) where people gather for a beer, chat and sometimes some quality music. Good function room for hire upstairs and beer garden at the rear. Proper pub and a welcome turn around, worth a visit
