Absolutely outstanding service from Gary and Sharon Sanderson. We purchased this outdoor furniture from the store and was really knocked off our feet by the amazing hospitality and service by the couple. Our purchase was seedless with Gary even delivering and setting up the table and benches at the stipulated date and time. This is one of the many establishments at Shongweni market that has to be visited. The prices are awesome 👌

We had a lovely breakfast at the market, en route to the Howick Falls. I had a delicious smoothie. The market is open every Saturday 7am to 1pm and also on the last Sunday of every month 8am to 1pm. It's one of the biggest markets I've seen, in terms of numbers of people. When we visited a few months ago, there was some construction happening around the market, so I guess the developers spotted the potential to make lots of money. Soon, what used to be kilometres of green surrounding the market, will be replaced with brick and mortar as people rush to buy property in what may very well become overpriced estates or apartments. The Wekeweke or Kirk Falls, commonly called the ‘Shongweni’ Falls, can be see from the edge of the market, with a very steep drop.

This is an awesome market with a few hundred or so stalls. Really amazing. We have been here a few times over the last few years. Shongweni market is a great place to spend a morning when around Durban. Closes by about 1pm on Saturdays. Great family or friends place to be.

What a hive of activity.
The stall holders are friendly and diverse. I love hearing them chat with the customers and treat regulars like family.
The German Spritzkuchen are a "must have" when visiting the market.

What a great Sunday I had there, loads of people selling their wears, live music, loads of different beers, great plac efor kids.

Plenty to see, enjoy & relax on a Saturday morning, including live band at certain hour. Equally a nice place to catch up with friends over late breakfast, where you can choose your favorite food & beverage from various stalls. The place is well maintained & clean including washroom area which is impressive.

An amazing Market, such sweet friendly people, stalls are very clean and well maintained. Relaxed Chilled Atmosphere. Definitely a great place to visit when ,some down time is needed.

This Market is by far the best of its kind anywhere in KZN! Food choices are diverse and delicious, stalls are all incredibly well presented and there is everything from Pet Treats to Organic Meat & Veg to Clothing , Art and Books.
Live music and a brilliant Craft G&at and beer bar make it an absolutely perfect place to spend a long, slow Saturday morning.

It was our first time to visit the Shongweni Farmers Market. It was an extremely hot day and despite the weather we had nice cool drinks and great food. The stalls are of very good quality and we enjoyed our morning.

Not open on Sundays - only Saturdays. It does however open at different times closer to Christmas
