We came to the temple along the shore, along a beautiful beach, just walking. It turns out they came in from the back door. Didn't you understand what it was at first? On a small cape there were some buildings and statues. There are traces of neglect and neglect. Only later, upon reaching the entrance to the temple, did everyone understand. Interesting sculptures, many trees. It’s especially beautiful when the lights turn on in the evening. It can be seen that the temple was not active for some time. From the city you can take a taxi or bus and walk 300 meters from the stop through Chinatown. The temple offers stunning views of the sea and the strait.

Probably the best thing is probably the view of the fishing boats during dawn or dusk. The place is hot and the temple architecture is nothing special.

This hidden attraction was located inside a traditional Chinese village, beside seaside and there is a Chinese temple...You can walk and see the sunset while waiting for the place to be lit on....

This garden lights up at night. Don’t bother going in the day. There is parking in the area. If you have a half hour to spare it is good for a quick visit. The avatar atmosphere is instagram worthy.

Came in to have a look whilst in the area, it was quite a good sight, especially after dark when they had the place lit up. some great carvings on the beach area, and the gardens were beautifully presented. A good place to wander around for an hour or so.

This is a very old temple. We heard of it because it is very popular during Chinese New Year, especially on the Lunar Day 15 where there will be a huge celebration and then there is a prediction for the rest of the year which is usually very accurate. The temple has a beautiful seaside location.

My Family has been there few times, the place is quiet and peaceful especially at noon time but today we have an unpleasant experience with the parking guardian (old guy) .
We have arrived there afternoon around 2pm, there are only 3 to 4 car is park at the parking bay in front of tokong and we didn't see the parking guardian.
When we want to leave the place at 3pm the parking guardian suddenly shown up in front of our car (all of us already inside the car and want to leave) and ask for the parking fees. He even grab my driver door and block my car and don't let us go. At the end I have to pay him Rm5.
We have no problem for the parking fees but just feel like it was unfair that the parking guardian is not doing the job at the first place and shown up just for collect the fees.

难得到槟城走走来到这边最美的景居然没有开灯！虽然没有收入门票也应该不能有这个疏忽啊！我和朋友坐了一个小时多的公共巴士才到达目的地叻！还有好多车进来找车位还有人站着收parking 钱呢🙄

A really hidden gems in Penang. Very good place to spend time. Better go during late evening and spend time till night to enjoy the lightning.
