Wonderful place in USA to visit- the views are amazing. Drive through Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoy. . Also great for camping. A nature lovers paradise.

I visited Asheville NC during New Year to go see first light of 2022. We drove through Hendersonville road and entered Blue ridge viewing stops. The one at elevation 4085 was the best. Only 15 minutes up the mountain. Amazing views and places to park your car.

Not the highest, but these mountains are so beautiful! Layers upon layers of blue! Stretching for miles, there’s a reason they attract so many visitors per year.

Our biggest decision: Blue Ridge Parkway or I-26? Either way, it’s a 50mph drive while pulling a Camper, ears popping and I popping, but so worth it

Beautiful scenery, especially in the spring and the fall. And the best way to see it – in our opinion - is by driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. We have driven the western part from Cherokee to Little Switzerland several times and it has always been beautiful.

One of the most beautiful drives anywhere!! But........motorhomes BEWARE !! The overall height of my motorhome is only 12 feet, but my rooftop A/C units really took a beating from the low hanging branches over the roadway. Most of the tunnels (there are 26 of them) have sufficient clearances, but there are 3 on the southern end that need to be bypassed.

It was very stunning through out the drive. All lookouts are gorgeous and very beautiful.
Very relaxing to hike around small streams of water and enjoying nature.

In addition to the beautiful scenery in every direction (up, down, to each side), the road itself is in immaculate shape. It's one of the nicest roads in the States, seriously. We just drove across the country (West to East), and this was by far the nicest, smoothest, newest road. It's a dream on its own, and then you add in the gorgeous views and pretty hiking trails? This is a definite "must" if you're even remotely close.

A drive through these massive mountains is a must. Take a picnic because there are lots of pull overs for scenery shots & picnics! Call is awesome, but spring flowering in the mountains is very pretty also.

We took a nice scenic ride to Asheville ... drove just a short stretch of the parkway as we heard that there was a construction going on and parts were closed.
It is the most beautiful ride in the fall during the peak foliage. But it has been years since we have done that.
Even though the scenery is not quite as colorful in March, the views of the Blue Ridge mountains in the distance are beautiful any time of the year.
