The temple is in the Panchvati area of Nashik, which is an old and congested area. The footware stand is near the temple, and you have to walk barefoot for some distance before entering the temple. Inside is a spacious space for sitting and mediating. The idols of Lord Ram, Laxman, and Sita are in black, which is unique in itself. Photography is not allowed inside the temple, but you can click one or two with your mobile only, secreatly.

Many of the Hindu temples visited by the "bhaviks" are in a sort of neglected state.
you have to keep the footwear outside the temple premises due to summer heat its terribly hot there and there is no shade for keeping the footwear the one and only chappal stand is far away and to walk bare foot from there results in burning skin of the soul. any ways the walk way towards the temple is painted white to reduce the heating of the path stones and also for names sake the pathway is covered with some cloth material however since the material is too light and is not fixed gets blown away by the wind and does not give any protection to the feet. The Devasthan office also is not very keen about the upkeep of the system and even if someone takes up the matter of such importance are not bothered to take necessary corrective steps. If one visits Gurudwara or for that matter Birla temples the experience is totally opposite because of which any one would like to visit the shrines again and again where as in the above case people would avoid going to such temples.

The temple premise is clean and inner sanctum is beautifully lit. Ram Lakhan Sita idols of black stone could be seen. It's something unique. There is good amount of space for siting and meditation inside the temple.
But best part for me, was this unique durbar hall, at the entrance which was guarded by a beautiful idol of hanumanji.

Hello,
I have only few hrs in nashik. So, planning to visit kalaram mandir and Sita gufa. I will be carrying a bag pack. Can anyone tell me...if there is any place in temple to keep bags safe?

I don't think there is facility to keep your baggage anywhere.
