The baseball was great but you'll miss the game waiting for concessions. I'd recommend eating before you go so you don't have to wait in the ridiculous lines waiting on people who don't know what they're doing. You'll play a ton of money for okay food and wait around forever for it. We waited 45 minutes to order and another 30 for our food. We overheard some others saying they were waiting 2 hours. They also overcharged the guy next to me but he was so frustrated by the time he got his food he just took the food and left. I think we would have had a lot of fun but we planned to eat dinner there and the concessions ruined our entire experience. Our kids were grumpy, thirsty and so hungry by the time we actually got to eat.

It is a great place to watch a baseball game. The seats allow you to see the action. The food is good.

There is free parking in the area if you can find it. It is a venerable ballpark with a pretty good scoreboard and public address system. The signage around the park is not very good and I found the employees marginally helpful at helping me find my seat. The concourse is crowded but does have ample concessions and a team store. In the reserved section there are individual plastic seats and in general admission the seats are benches. The sight lines for watching the game are good.

The Idaho Falls Chukars are the rookie advanced team for the Kansas City Royals. They play in the Pioneer league. We attended two games while on vacation. This is a really great minor league stadium. The Chukars draw a good crowd and have an avid fan base. Between almost every inning there was some sort of promotional giveaway or t-shirt toss. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Ticket and concession prices are very reasonable. They do have extended netting at the park. I actually like this with young kids as it lessens the risk of injury from a foul ball. We enjoy gong to various minor league parks and this is one of our favorites.

We’ve been to this park a few times for Chukars games and there’s a few things to note.
There’s two tiers of tickets: one that gives you an actual seat that is the area right behind home plate. The ‘general admission’ tickets are the areas near the left and right fields (these are usually the free tickets given out) on bleachers. No assigned seating or markings for the bleachers (they do have back rests on the bleachers). This means that during big events it’s likely to get crowded and they run out of available seating. Both events we’ve attended at the field they’ve ran out of general admission seating and some attribute this to them overselling tickets.
There’s a convenient store across the street from the main entrance into the park. Their prices are similar to what you’d expect; they don’t gouge the prices for being so close to the park.
There is a small park right next to the field. It is quite often used for social gatherings of companies and organizations for eating before entering the games.
There’s not nearly enough available parking there to accommodate for all of the attendees of the park. Most people resort to parking on adjacent streets within the area, and sometimes you have to park a few blocks away as the adjacent streets are very narrow and already have much of the parking spots taken up by residents.
The area surrounding the park is an older part of town. Some of the neighborhoods within the immediate area are low income and in need of repair/upgrades. It’s not the nicest part of Idaho Falls the city has to offer.

So many games in the summer and you can catch the whole thing or just a few innings. Food is good and the fans are fun.

We were invited to attend a series of seminars and events at Melaleuca and we were positively impressed by this singular building and the efficient way it is managed.

I went to purchase tickets to the Chukar's game and was greeted by an energetic and friendly staff member who also gave me a great deal for the tickets to the game that evening. Throughout the night, this same staff member was very engaging and energetic and made the night very enjoyable, even though it was a rough game for the Chukars.
