We went there for the bike trail. It had a good write up. It really was nice. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere when you are right around the corner from home. We biked all the way to Lake erie, a 50 mile round trip. Passed thru 3 or 4 other metroparks. Stopped for lunch in Flatrock. A totally fun time.

It was way tooooooooo hot to sit and enjoy despite all the shade beside the water. Will return in cooler weather as it was unbearable

Beautiful park, well-kept, some nature trails, camping sites, great walking/biking/jogging path, great picnic areas, there are grills, nice place to just sit out, view nature, listen to the birds, or sit near a stream. (I believe) there is a softball field, a water park (fee), a playscape/play ground, a par three golf course, tennis courts, and it connects to Willow Metro Park on the south end.

The maples change color a bit earlier than other trees here so come earlier than you think in the season or come in spring for the redbuds. It’s a beautiful park all year long.

Excessive fee’s to enter and for use of pool. Not really groomed like it use to be. Not really accessible to most Family’s because of excessive fee’s.

This metropark is well laid out with lots of attractions. I like the wild areas the best though they are cut through with lots of lawns that seem to never see use. The trails themselves are acceptable but they are not well maintained nor do they offer anything in the way of signage. I was there recently and along the walkway near the Huron River the brush and understory plants had been cleared just chopped away. It was very unattractive. They could use more shaded areas.
During events any shaded area is quickly filled up leaving most of the children (for whom the events are held) and seniors out in the sun.
There is a pool and pond attraction I have yet to visit. I am looking forward to checking that out.

Great park for any season. Summer splash park. Canoeing, and bike trails are great. Picnic areas with or without coverings.

We went for a walk in the park... literally.
It's a nice place and the trails go through the trees but if you want a long hike you will be disappointed. This place is good for short walks and it needs some tlc. They were going to do some work on a trail but it could be fixed up a lot more .
Otherwise it's quite relaxing.

what can i say i love nature,i love camping i love camping here..most times the campground is pretty empty which can be a goodthing.lots of animals around too,fishing isint the greatest but if you want to sit realx and cast the pole this place is for you

Would like to rent a pavilion with electric outlets for July or August or this year, What are the cost and are there any near water ?

I'm not sure about electricity at pavilions. I know that there aren't any water spigot at the pavilions but most sites have rest rooms with drinking fountains. If you go to the Metro park website, there is lots of information about rentals.
