The Rusty Crow bottles their own vodka and whiskey. It is well now in the area for its fine quality. The decor is unique. The bar serves only alcohol and no food. It is a worthwhile stop just for the innovative design and quality liquor.

I really enjoy the atmosphere, especially at the location in downtown Detroit! The Dearborn Heights is near my house, so that's cool, but they are not open often. Their drinks are yummy.

We stopped into this place after work on a Thursday around 5:30 and it happened to be "happy hour" 'till 8.I'm a beer drinker, but thought I'd try a "Michigan Mary," (with vodka)which turned out to be very good. It's not overly spicey, great taste over all+a good sized drink. They don't offer food, but don't mind if you bring food in,or have it delivered.Mr.Chicken is only a block up the sidewalk,so I walked up+bought a bag of food for 3 of us+tried a couple more drinks. The bar is set up+decorated in a cool rusty/patina+there's tables in a back room that has a roll up door that is open on nice days. The barmaid was excellent+the drink menu includes a great selection of drinks including all of their spirits. The only negative is the parking-there's only 3 spots out front-but you can park on the side street+they're only open Thurs-Sat,5pm-2am

We stopped here late one night just before they closed and I wish we had more time to spend. Actually it's probably good that we didn't have more time otherwise we wouldn't have been able to make our way home. The spirits here are top notch and the building is super cool inside. You wouldn't really think it was going to have the industrial vintage feel from look at the building from the outside.
We ended up taking a bottle of vodka home and it's one of our #1 go to's.

We enjoy the music and atmosphere at the Rusted Crow in Dearborn. The drinks are all hand made and most (the one's we have tried) are excellent. The bartenders and friendly and make a damn good drink!

A group of friends and I came here for a birthday. It's somewhat of a hidden gem. The drinks were fabulous. Smooth liquor. The favorite at the table was the Steamsicle. The drinks are pricey, but it's what one would expect at a distillery. The atmosphere and decoration are phenomenal. There are not any places like this in Dearborn Heights/the area, so it is certainly welcome.
However, his place doesn't get five stars for a few reasons:
1) The sign is not lit up. We rolled past it and had to make another loop around Telegraph (making it literally a hidden gem).
2) There are about four parking spots out front. Be prepared to park in the neighborhood.
3) For it not being full on a Saturday, service was somewhat slow. I think there were maybe two waitresses, and they're probably doing double duty as mixologists, so I get it, but there were maybe 15 people in the whole place.
4) The food was meh. The pizzas were burnt on the bottom. The pretzel sticks would have been better with cheese, but they were out of it.
5) Speaking of which, they were out of a number of things. We couldn't order certain drinks and pizzas. On a Saturday night, one would think everything would be stocked to capacity.
I think many of these reasons are due to the fact that they are small and newer and they just opened another location, so I definitely expect this place to improve to five stars in the coming months/years! We will definitely be back again.

We had our first ever MOONSHINE! :)
This little steampunk bar is quite fun. I wondered if it would be super dark, loud, and "moody", but it was none of those things. The atmosphere in the back room where we sat was really nice. Bright enough lighting to read the menu. Not at all loud (however there was a small stage in the corner for live music that was not being used on Saturday night. Obviously if there was music playing it would have been much louder :).) The décor is very well done.
And the drinks were lovely!! Super exotic/exciting recipes. Priced a bit high, but worth it for a drink or two just to experience it.
Parking is tricky. Service was good.

As a tour guide in Detroit, I have taken guests past the Rusted Crow on W. Adams in Detroit because of the clever and ingenious decor. However, it wasn't until last Saturday evening during the Jazzfest that I had a chance to dine there. I was wondering if the menu would match the creativity in the decorations and it definitely does! My husband started out with the Mitten Margarita and I had the Detroit Steamsicle. Then we had the Black and Blue and Fried Egg burgers. They were absolutely delicious and perfectly well done (pun intended)! Although I believe that they might have been a little short handed, our server Zoe was a delight and made us feel like we were her only customers. Around 9:00 an excellent folk singer provided entertainment. The combination of great food, service, atmosphere and music was a wonderful treat! We are looking forward to our next visit and now I will be able to recommend the Rusted Crow first hand to my guests.
