If you’re looking for a yoga experience that transcends the ordinary, Rose Room in Sayulita, Mexico, is where you’ll find it. I had the privilege of completing my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) here, and it was nothing short of transformative. Audra, the owner and our guide through this journey, led the training with such grace and precision that by the end, we were all fully equipped to lead classes with confidence. Her deep knowledge and passion for yoga infused every lesson, ensuring we learned everything we needed to know.
Beyond the YTT, I practiced at Rose Room for over a year, a testament to the studio’s exceptional quality. Audra and her team pour their souls into this space, making it a sanctuary for both the body and spirit.
When I close my eyes, I can still feel the gentle morning breeze on my skin, see the early sunlight flickering through the bamboo shades, and smell the incense mingling with fresh flowers. Audra's voice continues to echo in my mind, guiding me deeper into poses, reminding me that our foundation is key to rising higher.
I miss this place every day I'm not there. I hope everyone has the chance to experience a yoga class at Rose Room, where the waves crash gently on the shore, the sunsets paint the sky with breathtaking colors, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a whale from your mat. Rose Room is more than a yoga studio; it's a place where the soul finds peace and the practice finds depth.

Audra is an amazing teacher. She is really funny and kind and made the whole experience relaxed and Enjoyable.
She also adapts the classes to ensure everyone can enjoy themselves.
I am by no means a yogi but I thoroughly enjoyed my weeks classes here.

The Rose Room was an excellent place to do yoga while I was on vacation in Sayulita. I researched all the yoga studios to go to before I left and Rose Room caught my eye due to their place of practice being a rooftop venue (looking right out into the ocean…it’s so stunning) and the main reason as to why I chose this studio was the offering of something I have never seen before as a yogi was the offering of LIVE DJ beats flow vinyasa class! I absolutely loved it! The experience Andrea, the yoga teacher who created this themed class/experience really was a curator of a unique experience that created community, joy, flowing movement and a sense of collab between practice, music and art. All of us in class had huge smiles on our faces. It was my favourite class while I was down there and I went every Saturday. All of the DJs hired were excellent - a new one every week for variety! Rameff was my all time favourite DJ as his music is so layered and ethereal! I also had the opportunity to try Andrea’s flow classes during the week. She has this beautiful gift of fusing deep themes, mudra and sankalpa into all her classes, bringing a depth of self and connection to body that is so rare. Her classes are an experience unto their own. I also really enjoyed Alana’s classes. A Little Rock
N roll and depth of soul. Audra’s
Classes were alignment based and extremely
Informative of body and structure. Rose Room has a special place in my heart, so much so that I am returning this summer to take class once again. You have to go to Rose Room!!!

The Rose Room is absolutely my favourite yoga studio - this slice of magical paradise in the middle of the jungle, with the ocean in front while you practice is the perfect place to reconnect back to your body and breath. I feel a sense of home and peace every time I lay down on my mat in this beautiful space. Each teacher is unique and brings their own style and creativity to each practice that always leaves me overflowing with gratitude. I was lucky enough to be able to be part of Audra's first YTT program this summer and I still feel like I am floating on cloud 9. Audra's passion for yoga is contagious & she held space beautifully over the course as we deepened our practice, knowledge and love of yoga through classes, workshops, theory & philosophy sessions and special guest speakers. I am forever grateful for Audra and the Rose Room and the journey that it has taken me on <3

Best Yoga studio in Sayulita hands down. The instructor, Audra ; was kind, patience . knowledgeable and full of great vibe. The coffee shop on the first floor was a cherry on the top. The smoothies and avocado toast were delicious .

Perfect spot for yoga. I did two classes and both were great. Overlooks the palm trees and the sea. Both teachers I had were great- Jen and Nikki and I would definitely visit again.

Andrea was a fantastic teacher, we ended up going back a couple times. Challenging and fun class, in a beautiful open air studio. Highly recommend!

To begin, some context: I’ve been practising yoga more than half my life, starting aged 18 with hatha, then ashtanga, jivamukti, yin and iyengar, and more. I’m also trained and previously worked as a yoga teacher. I’ve taken thousands of classes in 8+ countries with some of the best-known teachers in the world. Andrea’s class at The Rose Room in Sayulita was a total breath of fresh air!
In recent years I’d fallen out of love with the yoga world - all the semi-nude posturing on Instagram, expensive transparent leggings, and gurus discredited in #metoo, plus all the injuries I got being pushed too hard because I’m experienced/ flexible/ strong/ should be chasing a particular asana or boosting a teacher’s ego by them successfully jamming me into it. I’ve only just returned to practice after a year-long shoulder injury caused by yoga and had thought I might give classes up completely. After a few weeks surfing in Sayulita and hearing good things about this class, I somewhat skeptically decided to give it a try.
Andrea’s class was the antidote to everything I have found wrong with yoga lately. It was a joyful, safe and fun space for embodiment and connection, truly a moving meditation. Better than any other teacher I’ve encountered, she skilfully offered variations for all levels of ability and experience without it feeling like a cop-out not to do “the full pose”. She has a warm, attentive and empathic presence, giving precise instructions and demos to safely guide students through the practice.
There were people of all ages, genders and levels with the biggest smiles on their faces I’ve ever seen in a yoga studio. Andrea held the space beautifully and created a sense of fun and community so often lacking anywhere other than acro-yoga - her playful, interactive and inclusive approach carried us through the more challenging poses. Her sequencing was creative and fun, but also anatomically safe and logical. Her spirit shone through and enabled all of ours to also as she guided us through a hot and heartfelt session.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this class to anyone at any stage of their yoga or life journey, including those with trauma, yoga-related or otherwise. Thank you, Andrea, and keep doing what you do - people need it and you rock!
P.S. It’s a lovely open-air studio too with palm tree and ocean views and the cafe downstairs is great too!

During my 1.5 years living in and out of Sayulita, Rose Room has been my home for yoga, nourishment, joy, community and connection! The rooftop setting and views all around are so lush and serene, even among the Mexican liveliness on the street below. The aesthetic is so thoughtfully designed thanks to Audra, the Libra siren. And each instructor and class are gorgeously unique - with its own flair, fun, romanticism, precision, etc. Truly something for everyone. Go there to tune inward, move your body, feel your feels - and stay there to sway in the high vibes, connect with other beautiful souls and receive your delicious life!
