Love this store! Sabrina and Debbie were friendly and helpful. Selection of Native American and Southwestern jewelry is never-ending. They also sell strung turquoise and other stones as well as cabs and drilled pendant stones. We spent a lot of time in this store due to good selection and the friendliness of Sabrina and Debbie. If a ring doesnt fit, they will size it while you wait. This is our favorite store in Ruidoso! We will definitely be back!

The folks who own this place are extremely judgmental. I’ve personally experienced snobby looks from the white woman working the bead counter and felt “watched” as my friend and I innocently browsed. I didn’t think much of it until I recently learned that a close friend friend of mine and her mother were point blank accused of shoplifting by the owner and followed around the store as they browsed. They were told “it’s our job to follow you around the store”. The owner of this place also told them, “We have everything on camera, and you need to leave and never come back.” Although the owner could not provide an explanation for what was supposedly “on camera”. One could argue the above experience with these shop owners was racial profiling. I did not leave this shop with the best vibes when I visited - something told me I was being judged and watched everywhere I went (I present as a more masculine female who is clearly of the LGBTQIA spectrum) - and that feeing was confirmed by the story I recently heard from my close friend (Hispanic/LatinX) about the experience described above. For what it’s worth, this place lost several tourists.

Loved this store! They have a huge selection of jewelry for all budgets with a knowledgeable staff. Large selection of everything you can think of. We did a lot of shopping here. Service was great. They went out of the way to assist with all requests. I went to this store 3 times while in Ruidoso on vacation. It is pne of my go-to stores in Ruidoso.

The Ruidoso Trading Post is more than a tourist place. Amid all the Jewelry and things I found Cafe Pinon de Nuevo Mexico, the best pinon coffee I've ever had. I bought three bags. They have other flavors, too. I'm going to go back! Look for the blue bags.

Scrumptious turquoise jewelry, prices whip all other stores in the state. Made my head spin, I have never been to a store with such a vast selection of jewelry... fine estate pieces to trendy and inexpensive . But that’s not all... oddities, antiques, art, metaphysical items, toys for the kiddos, blankets, crosses, scarves, and an entire room of beads and jewelry making supplies. Huge store - staffed by friendly knowledgeable experts.

If you like rocks or jewelry don't miss this. Small storefront but the place is huge. The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful. Items in all price ranges. Many, many types of loose stones, jewelry in all price ranges, and also some leather and pottery.

I was hoping this one would stand out from the rest but alias, it is a typical tourist store. Lots of jewelry. Back of store was quite dirty.

those character sitting around in the entrance to this shop are creepy.. the place seems really dark and its a good old tourist place, selling the same old stuff..

Why are you so dishonest? Why would you custom make something for somebody and then tell them you lost it and then refuse to do business with that same person?
