We had an absolute blast! We booked in for a full day experience with 2 drivers as it was a gift for my boyfriend.
When we arrived we were greeted by Darren who was going to be our instructor for the day.
My boyfriend is a Land Rover nerd, knows everything about cars etc, however I’m a complete novice so I was pretty nervous for the day..
Darren completely squashed those fears right from the get go, he talked us through everything we’d be doing, everything that the car does and we were on our way!
The first half was incredibly fun even though it’s the beginners track we still had such a good time learning how the car works, going through the ponds and the hills etc..
Lunch time we were allocated £20pp, the portion sizes were very generous and we couldn’t finish what we had bought haha
After lunch we were then onto the trickier stuff, different terrains, 40 degree drops, sideways climbs etc..
Oh my gosh it was scary, but it was so incredibly fun at the same time..
My boyfriend came out of this experience with an itch to buy another car which does not surprise me and I came out with so much confidence to drive that big car (I’ve only ever driven a Polo for 7 years) it blew me away!

Absolutely fabulous morning, Andy who was our host was incredibly knowledgeable and good fun so we had a lovely time in the RangeRover. Learnt lots and thoroughly enjoyed it so strongly recommend.

We had an amazing time at the Land Rover Off Road Experience! Chris was our instructor, and he was fantastic—very calm, capable, and knowledgeable. He made us feel at ease the whole time and was genuinely interested in getting to know both me and my partner. I booked this last minute as a surprise for our first anniversary, and Mary was extremely accommodating despite the short notice. Overall, it was a memorable experience with top-notch staff and service. Highly recommended!

Visited with my mum and partner to do a full day experience and absolutely loved it! Chris our instructor was exceptional and really showed us how to get the most out of the Defender (and ourselves). He instructed us in a calm and confident way that really made us feel comfortable enough to push the vehicle well beyond what we normally would! The Defender is exceptionally capable for a road going production vehicle you could go out and buy tomorrow - a real accolade to Land Rover’s capabilities still within the 4x4 world.
We have all said we would happily do another day like this given the chance!

Got the experience from JLR for purchasing a Defender so was excited at what it could actually do. Met Richard who greeted us and offered refreshments etc. Chris was our guide and instructor really nice guy and full of information on the course. We all had a drive and was amazed what the Defender can do.
We all really enjoyed the afternoon so a big thankyou. Fantastic experience

Really great day out, went after receiving a complimentary experience with the purchase of our Range Rover. Very professional team, especially our instructor Luke who was a really nice guy, very helpful but also great fun! Very well looked after throughout the full day and they were particularly flexible with us as we had to arrive late and leave early. Would highly recommend.

We were at Peckforton Castle for a short break and I treated my partner to a one-hour off-road Land Rover Experience. For me, going up and down rocky hills, and through deep water, and balancing on 2 wheels, and everything else, was a stomach churning experience(!), but my partner loved it and was so interested and enthralled with the unbelievable technology that was in that vehicle. He still hasn't got over the fact that when you go down a very steep hill you don't need to touch the brakes - the vehicle does it for you. He'll never own a Land Rover Defender, but at least he's driven one. Luke, the 'instructor', was an absolute star and made the whole experience really special. He and his Land Rover colleagues were, by far, the friendliest members of staff we met at the castle. Good on you Luke, and thanks for a fun and exciting hour!

We’ve just got back from a fabulous afternoon in a Range Rover Sport with our instructor, Darren.
From start to finish, we were treated to a very informative and exciting drive with lots of witty conversation thrown in. These vehicles are incredible and Darren really puts you at ease and instils confidence in you and the car’s capabilities making the whole experience most enjoyable.
We’ll be back with Chunky 2 Darren!

Great day learning about the Range Rover and its off road capabilities. The knowledge and expertise passed on by Luke was second to none. Really relaxed afternoon messing around in mud and water all in the comfort of a luxury vehicle. Would definitely do it again tackling the extreme course next time.

Me and my boyfriend did this recently and we had an amazing time, we would definitely do this again. Our instructor Luke was a lovely bloke who knew exaclty what he was talking about and make the whole experience very enjoyable and informative.

Hi, I want to take my boyfriend but he hasn’t driven since he learnt to drive around 2 years ago, do you think he’d enjoy it and be okay doing it?
I first did the experience after just over a year of driving and I enjoyed it and didn’t struggle.

Hi everyone at Peckforton Landrover experience,
Thank you for a fantastic afternoon.
Can you let Martin know that the name of the pub we discussed is the 'Bhurtphore' in Aston near Wrenbury. The USP is not pie's, it's curry so possibly even better? By the way if it says hot, it means hot, take a hankie 'cos the napkin isn't going to cope with all that moisture !!
