So much to see and do there, hiking is amazing. Do your homework and where to stay, we ended up staying further away than we wanted to and later finding many more places available closer to the hiking and waterfalls.

This was the fourth year I’ve stayed at Hocking Hills Adventures campground. We just love it. The sites are nice and roomy with great tree cover, the river view is breathtaking, I love how the sites are primitive and non electric, and it’s a short drive to all of the Hocking Hills hikes and attractions. We will continue to return yearly. Highly recommend!

Srry to say game room is none, no pool table @ .50 a game or games you would typically find in a game room, asked if they had stickers to buy to remember the place no longer carry didn’t even carry stickers (Owner not making money) we all came up knowing there would be rain in the middle of our vacation each bringing a bag of quarters hoping to spend the bag of quarters on games or neat stuff at store lol
Oh & not to say outhouses we’re cleaned with big truck lots of lights between 2 & 3am (Really)

The river was very calm but did have some spots were the water picked up speed and made it pretty fun in those spots. There was good spots to stop on the river if you needed a break. The bus ride was very quick and is very convenient for travelers. On there river there is great wildlife with seeing turtles or birds and if the opportunity fishing. The process of getting into the kayak was very simple. Overall this is a great adventure in the Hocking Hills area.

The river was peaceful and a good starter river for first time canoe riders! Accurate time length on the river. All of the staff were helpful, friendly and polite!

Invest some money and improve and better maintain the campground. No pads provided for camping trailers.Parts of the campground was not mowed. There are old campers and machines rptting away. Restrooms and showers extremely small and not well maintained. We will not be returning!

The management is great, very accommodating and kind! The bathrooms leave a bit to be desired, and the lines at times are a bummer. We had a great stay, our cabin was clean and cool at night with AC and a ceiling fan. It’s not fancy, but it’s perfect for hiking all day and sleeping in a comfy bed. It was also nice to have a fire pit, charcoal grill, picnic table, fridge, and microwave. We didn’t do any of the tubing or other activities the campground has to offer.

They really need go fix the path you drive on because it is nothing but potholes all the way through. Site 64 is where i stayed and the site itself is nice but the drive way has a HUGE POT HOLE and i have an SUV and it dragged so bad every time we went in and out. Be careful at night because when the camp is empty people go down and look for peoples stuff to steal. At 12 am a driver was shining flashlights at our site and making noise with their loud vehicle. It was very creepy and did not make me feel safe AT ALL. The staff is nice but does not excuse the path being HORRIBLE and the sites having mud holes. There needs to be a host or security. You cant trust people these days.

Our spot was decent w/ shade and flat ground. Showers are newer. Half the camping area hasn't been mowed in weeks. It looks like a junk yard. No really. Old vehicles, and construction equipment rotting away. The road to the camping area will break an axle. The showers/ bathrooms are filthy. No Tp, drains clogged. You'll need to step it up. Been camping for 50 yrs. Won't be back there.

I rented the cabin by the river. This place advertised they were close to the state park. The cabin was poorly maintained. There was dead bugs everywhere. The check in process was terrible because the two workers were no where to be found. (Later found them sitting under a bridge talking). The hot tob was filled with dead bugs, and other others identified debris. I had to drive to the campground to tell them the hot tub wasn't working and the water was freezing, again because the workers on site disappeared. While using the hot tub the cords near the house started sparking so after all the hassle we didn't even get to enjoy it. The air conditioning in the house stopped working the day after we got there. We couldn't find thr staff so we dealt with it. We paid over $ 300 to stay here which turned out ti be a huge regret. I would never stay here again. They definitely put their money into the kayaking/river trips then into the on-site lodging.
