Had a wonderful time. We have completed a number of escape rooms at this venue. All have been well set up and great to do with friends/family. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout. This latest one 'Bad Elf 2' was a little tricky so we were given a number of clues to help us on our way (much appreciated).
We would highly recommend Compendium if you are looking to do an Escape Room in Bury. We'll definitely be back to complete more.

Another fantastic room to escape from. Each time we visit the Alex and the team are always welcoming and remember us, how their brains work to come up with all these room ideas and the clues is bloody fantastic, absolute genius’ they are.
We had completed all the rooms they have and have had, I can’t wait to see what else you come up with and for the new room in April to open. Once again that’s for a great experience x

Went with family and had a great time. Loved it and will definitely go again, it felt like ages but we had 48 SECONDS to spare. Really enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone who loves puzzles or just wants something to do with the family.

Having now played all the rooms at Compendium (bar their new Christmas room - I'll be back!) I can thoroughly and completely attest that there is no better Escape Room company in the area. Every room is so well thought-out and detailed, with ingenious puzzle designs and storylines, that it's a complete treat to play here.
The game masters are delightful and always seem to be down for a good chat, and they've also been lovely enough to recommend some other rooms for us to try next on our voyages.
Thank you so much Compendium, I can't wait to see what you do next!

Me and my family did the bedlam room and it was fantastic. The puzzles were challenging but quite nice to figure out. It has enabled the teamwork between our family and it was a very friendly experience. The staff were very nice and friendly. The room was well decorated making it look like a mental asylum and all round a brilliant experience. Me and my family would easily book another room with them again.

Took my 8yr old girl to the Bad Elf Room 2.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, we both had an amazing time.
The set & event are both superb and clearly a lot of time and effort has gone in to it.
Hoast's are great as well. Highly recommended.

Fantastic afternoon with the kids, took 3x 12 year olds for something different to do for half term and they absolutely loved the u55 room will definitely book another room as a Christmas treat … it was our first time doing an escape room and we had no clue what we were doing and the amazing staff helped along the way with little clues so the kids were able to solve the puzzles. It was really personal and a fun experience well explained before we started and we actually managed to escape with a minute to go… so the kids were super happy.

Me and my family did the ui 55 it was really fun and was really enjoyable there was loads to do and there is a selection of puzzles. The guy was very nice and we was a bit late but still let us do the room I will definitely be back and would recommend.

The room we did was the “Zombieland 2 Perks of Karen”. I went with two 9 year olds and a 17 year old. The puzzles were challenging and inventive, using a good mix of puzzle styles (one even using smells), each of which provides a four digit code which you key into a vending machine. It’s a great multimedia experience. There’s a talking zombie (“Karen”) who gives you a load of stick throughout the game, hence you are asked before booking and again before starting whether you are easily offended! But it’s all good fun.
Staff were great and we got enough guidance when we were struggling.
All in all a great Escape Room and we’ll definitely go again.

Had an absolute laugh with the girls all.40+ but definitely still up for a laugh. Really helpful staff. No judgement just gave tips where needed.
