If you're lucky enough to be in the area in late August, you've got to go to a Little League World Series game. Extraordinary facility, free admission, lots of excitement in the players and fans. Baseball in its purest form!

It's great that they allow museum visitors to walk around the playing fields and stands. Very well maintained and all the staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful. Worth the visit!

If you're a LLB fan or have ever played LLB yourself, no visit to South Williamsport is complete without a visit to the fields of dreams that is the LLWS. My mind was flooded with the memories of my years as a little leaguer. It was so much fun to picture myself stepping onto the field as a player and taking my turn at bat. Highly recommend.

It was September and the stadium was quiet, but we enjoyed out visit. We are great fans of the Little League World Series on TV. That is a fun event to watch. We were traveling thru the area, so made a point to stop for a visit to the stadium. It was beautifully kept and the "hill" had new grass growing for next year. We enjoyed walking around and next year will be able to say we have been there.

What a thrill to see the stadium in person. The grounds are spectacular. To see the hill that people slide down was amazing. Also learned that Garth Brooks has a TEAMMATES For KIDS FOUNDATION. Talked with a grounds keeper who was very friendly and answered all our questions.

Spent a full day in Williamsport at the Little League World Series in August 2019. Games are played on two beautiful baseball fields. We watched two USA games at Lamade Stadium, and one International game on the lower field. A good friend was chosen to serve as an umpire, which just added to the joy for all of us. Parking ON THE GROUNDS (just below the lower fields) is free! No admission charge. (Food prices reasonable.) If you have children who play in Little League, particularly ages 6 to 13, this is a MUST SEE event. Don’t miss the Little League museum while you are there.

We had a great time at the Little League World Series. Watching games daily and all the fun around the stadium and City. Excellent facility. Plenty of food vendors and good food. If you are a baseball fan this is an event to see.

What a massive win (8-0) first of all, many congrats to Louisiana, team USA, on your very first Little League World Series title! And big kudos to team Curaçao as well, both did a tremendous job, we along with whole crowd were so proud and happy for y’all.
PS Just fyi, 16 teams were split into 2 brackets, eight international and eight USA. Each bracket is a double elimination format, and this year the final match was, Curaçao vs Louisiana on Sunday, Aug 25, 2019.

If you are a diehard baseball fan and love the game going to the LLWS at Howard J. Lamade Stadium and Volunteer Stadium is a must do bucket list item. The setting is awesome and the games are incredible.

Entrance to the Little League World Series is free, but they get you on the food and souvenirs. Not unexpected, of course. Prices were about on par with any touristy destination/fair/carnival-type event.
The stadiums are well kept and you can get good views from pretty much any seat, but I had even better luck on the hill!
Tips:
Don't pay for parking! There is plenty of free parking in the designated official parking lots, and the walk is pretty short to the entrance. There are plenty of shuttles if you don't feel like walking, too. If you stay to the end of the day, wait about 20 minutes for the traffic to die down. You will get out easily.
Get there early whether you sit on the stadium or on the hill. Spaces fill up fast!
Saw 2/3 off the back legs of those plastic deck chairs and set up on the hill. Works perfectly! Or, bring a blanket.
If you buy a souvenir drink cup, go ahead and pay extra for the refill. It's cheaper that way. Also, if you go back and ask nicely, they will fill your cup with seltzer for free.
Bring a cooler with food and keep it in your car. Go out and eat at the car to save money. (Can't bring in food or liquids.)
Wear comfortable shoes for walking. It's hilly.
CHEER FOR EVERYONE -- they all worked hard to get there and they deserve it!
