Hubby and I enjoyed the hike to the Hawk Falls. We were there on a Sunday so it was kind of crowded. I had to wait for people to move, trying to get a photo of the Hawk Falls with no one standing in front. It is a nice hike and a beautiful waterfall.

Enjoyed visiting this waterfall. Hike route was in and out, about 20 minutes each way with some incline/decline. When using gps, type in ‘hawk falls parking’. It is off the side of the road with a decent amount of spots.

This was worth the small walk including the 30% incline on the way back. The scenery was beautiful and the path was fairly easy to traverse down but a bit harder to return, wear good shoes.

This is a beautiful hike amongst many rhododendrons. It felt like we were on a tropical island rather than Pennsylvania. There is a decent amount of parking and very helpful rangers. The parking lot will fill up on the weekend. This was our favorite waterfall we checked out while in the Poconos.

Easy for all. We had a four-year-old That was able to hike up and down the entire trail without Difficulty.

So we drove over and hiked to the falls, nice little hike, beautiful scenery, falls were pretty nice to see! In our opinion it's worth the hike and drive to see them!

The trail is very easy. When we got to the falls our 5 and 7 year olds said, "is that it". The falls were nothing amazing for us, but we also live in New England and have hiked to some great waterfalls. Some of the other trails in the area a confusing. We had a map like most people and ran into multiple people that were confused by the map. We have hiked all around the country and are no strangers to maps. We would say the map is not 100% correct and that is based on our experience and seeing so many people confused. If you are just hiking to the falls and back you will have no issue since it is a very popular trail. Our kids thought it was too easy and not worth the short hike to see the falls.

Short easy hike and a great place to sit and look at the falls. his is also a shaded walk with lots of places to sit on the edge and rest.

We hiked to the falls with our teen daughter and all enjoyed ourselves. It took approximately 30 minutes and the trail was well marked. There were a few muddy areas and a couple rocky areas where you had to watch your step. In my novice opinion, it was a mild to moderate hike. The falls were beautiful. No swimming is allowed.

Yes it is free but can be difficult to find it b/c there is not a big sign and its before you get to the main entrance of the state park.

Its on RT 534. I missed it the first time and went 'into' the park and checked out boulder field instead. I went back the next day and noticed it. Its hard to describe but I was traveling west on 534 from Albrightsville and shortly after entering the park area there is shoulder parking on your left hand side. Park there and follow then you walk along the shoulder for about 50 yards and there will be a path with a hard to see sign. Its right before a small bridge with guard rails.
