Cute shop….be aware the cashiers have very zero personality. They are so irritated when you actually check out. Other than that…. It’s cute:)

Has no hours listed on building which doesn't help, another park employee said they opened at 9 went to check it out guess I get to keep my money

I visited the park with my family on 12/12/2020 and we decided to rent a paddle boat. You're required to give your DL when you rent the boat which is fine, but the kid who rented the boat to us, decided to tell me his life story about how he gets insomnia and didn't get a wink of sleep the night before and told me he was off that day. I'd say so, especially since he decided to keep my DL and never give it back. I called the shop the next business day, 12/14/2020 and was told 3 times on 3 different phone calls that my DL was mailed back to me. It never was. I told Brett the owner that I'd wait until 12/30/2020 to get it back, and I still haven't received it. I live 2 hours from the park. The service is absolutely terrible. Too bad, this is one of my favorite state parks in Texas. I will never purchase anything from the shop again. Good thing is, it's not affiliated with the State Park, but I've been super inconvenienced and lied to. The worst part is, I was made to feel like I was the one that was at fault by Brett the owner. Terrible service all around.

this was okay. Large gift shop for a Texas State Park. Only other one I've seen this large was Palo Duro Canyon. large selection of shirts, hats, usual vacation souvenirs for everyone. Nothing spectacular but a nice place to shop

The shop was lots of clothes (t-shirts, sweat shirts, baseball caps, shoes, etc), jewelry, kids toys, camping supplies and collectibles. The prices are about average compared to stores outside the park. Staff was friendly.

If you forgot items on your trip there was a store within Gardner that had everything available, plus there was music in the evening and miniature golf for the family :)

The staff in the shop were so nice, but not pushy or over observant. Lots of rustic gifts as well as the t-shirts. I purchased a wonderful, great quality rustic sweat shirt that has washed well.
If you need any food/kitchen supplies or OTC medicines you will need to go to the little grocery they have.......for all the little things you forgot.

Amazing gift shop! Lots of neat items. Just beware it is not owned by the state park system so you will not get a discount with your Texas State Park Pass.
