Kay who leads the Karaoke is the nicest and is a fun entertainer! We had a blast! Bartender was friendly. Popcorn was yummy! Thank you!

If you want to smell like an ashtray this is where you should go. That should tell you all you need to know. Still a fun place to be if you like karaoke

Dropped in for a quick drink and to see if I could watch a Spurs game and it wasn’t bad. Diverse crowd of folks. Only place on Saturday night with any people during off-season. Service was ok. It is very smoky and karaoke gets cranked up late night.

On 6 December 2019, my wife and I visited Corral Reef Lounge located at 5301 Padres Blvd, South, Padre Island Texas 78597. We arrived before midnight and were asked if we would like to start a tab by the bartender (Bryan). There was no disclosure at this point of any service charge or convenience fee, or additional tax etc. that would be added to our card when closed. My wife and I closed the tab after midnight and were informed by Bryan that there was an 18% surcharge on our bill that is “automatically added and cannot be removed.” My wife and I contested but to no avail thus, we paid the tab and departed.
This practice which is shoddy and basically extorts money from customers, is highly unethical and from what I read in statutes, illegal. The practice brings great damage to the reputation of South Padre Island. In addition, my complaint to other establishments on the island about this practice returned comments that this is not the norm and is not practiced by their establishments.
In addition, karaoke man comes over and gets extremely rude with my wife, tells her he wouldn’t call me up for karaoke because I sang 12 songs and I didn’t tip him. Lol, I sang 4, she recorded them all and I usually tip well but at the end of the night for reasons such as this!

There was us, the bartender, the karaoke guy, and one other customer. Not a lot going on and everytime we wanted to sing karaoke, we had to track down the guy. He kept wandering off. Also, a lot of Wisconsin signs which didn't seem logical in south Texas.

We walked to the bar about shift change last night....we're only 3 blocks away....The bartender before change was not friendly...What you want....was all we got...We have been here for many years in the January and February months....ordered 2 cocktails and no other conversation....The 2nd Bartender came abt 10 minutes later and never spoke to us at all. There was only 1 other person in the bar so we sat at the bar. The second bartender sat at the other end of the bar on his phone for abt 20 min so we needed another drink....we end up just leaving...the other bartender never even acknowledged we were there.... Maybe next year.... Sad because we have met the owner and he is a very nice guy....

The owner is amazing made us feel right at home! Staff is friendly, Customers were very friendly and made us feel like part of the crowd! Gave us tips of where else to go and what to do! If I was a late night gal I would have loved to stay for karaoke! Great adult stop!!

I've been going to Padre for over 10 years and finally stopped in to belt a tune. Karaoke is available 365 days a year starting at 9pm. The host allows you to sing to songs in a room if you want to. Beverage prices seemed a bit hight though.

Wonderful bar staff. Great karaoke. Not my thing but you can smoke indoors.

The staff was friendly. Jeff (or Geoff, he's British) runs the karaoke and dials in good sound. The drinks are cold and reasonable. I now have my favorite bar on South Padre. My one complaint is that smoking is allowed but that's true at all of them down there.
