We had a fantastic time at the Children’s Discovery Museum! One of the highlights for us was the half-price admission after 3:30 PM, which made it an even better deal for our family.
The museum features a delightful pretend city that includes a grocery store, a hospital, an ambulance, a circus, a veterinary office, and even a campfire log cabin with a chicken coop. It’s a wonderful setup that encourages imaginative play.
There’s also a STEM section where kids can build things using foam boards, and the huge dinosaur area offers plenty of science-related fun. Our children were thoroughly engaged in all the activities, and it was great to see them exploring and learning through play.
The facilities were clean, which is always a plus, and they even had a family bathroom, making it convenient for families with young kids.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Children’s Discovery Museum for kids under the age of 10. It’s a fun and educational spot that offers so much for little ones to explore!

This was a cute small museum. We brought our 14 year old girl and 10 year old daughter. They planted for a good 2 hours. They enjoyed it. The museum was a great way to get out of the what for a while.
They do not require masks, but you can choice to wear one.

Great place to take Grand kids. Enjoyed by all even us adults that went along! Will diffidently return for more educational and fun time.

Walking in I thought the admission fee was a little high compared to other children’s museums we had gone to since this one was significantly smaller. However we were pleasantly surprised with how much there was to do and how much fun the kids had. We spent a full afternoon there just playing around in different areas of the museum. We would go back again.

I thought 15 dollars for a 2 year old was high. As it was the same price for me. But we spent the entire day there and I feel like we got our money's worth. There is a lot to do! She loved the toddler class, the paint area, the piano keys, Lego area, circus area, etc. so much to do, too much to list.

This is an excellent place to take kids. They've got plenty to keep them interested and it's a great place to beat the heat! They've got attractions to keep most kids busy and happy while learning. It's mostly geared for kids 12 and under, so my two kids under 5 have a blast every time! The new Storyland exhibit is a great feature along with their permanent exhibits. Definitely a place to enjoy a few hours with your children!

This museum was remodeled and reopened in 2017. We took a 2 yr old and he was thoroughly entertained for over 2 hours! We only left because it was time for lunch and nap. Lots of learning activities for ages up to elementary as well as fun play activities. One room with permanent exhibits, one with temporary/special exhibits and one large playroom with blocks, parachute, etc.
Staff was very friendly and helpful and your ticket allows you to come and go all day. You are welcome to bring in food but it must be consumed only in designated areas.
We will definitely be going back!

Awesome indoor activity for long, hot summer days! I wouldn't call it a museum exactly but there are different experiments you can try. My almost 2 year old and 4 year old loved it here and if it weren't for nap time they could have spent forever here. Under 24 months is free but you do pay for adults. The admission price is very affordable for the time you'll spend here. We even got to sit in on "tot time" (at 11am daily) and make a delicious snack promoting their upcoming summer camps. There were activities for toddlers to preteens and my kids' favorite was the build your own roller coaster and the costume area. Plan to spend a few hours here and if you don't get enough, your paid admission is good for re-entry all day until closing! Truly a good deal and a fantastic staff that enjoy being around kiddos.

I took my son here when he was 1 1/2 years old. There weren't as many activities for him to play, and it didn't feel very clean or well maintained. I'm a bit spoiled because the Children's Museum in Austin is so amazing.
