Thanks so much for the tour Marty! We appreciated the special touch for our anniversary and your knowledge of the area! Marty had a wine picnic with some cheese & sausage for us at our last stop to celebrate. They were all from local businesses in the area and were delicious. Cows, goats, & cheese is a perfect morning! Besides who doesn’t like drinking wine on the side of the road? Oh wait, that’s us folks, we do!!!! I would recommend this tour to anyone! It was a great way to get to enjoy the landscape. Marty is a super nice, funny guy and we also got to hear some great stories along the way. Giving tours is a perfect job that seems made for him. We also asked him for some dinner recommendations and took his advice on 1 of them and it was good! Look forward to coming back to the area and staying at his Air B &B one day.

Wow! What a wonderful day! I really didn’t think it would be something we liked. I’m from the area and my boyfriend isn’t too into tours. We had the best time and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Marty is truly a gem and showcased the rich history of Richland County. We so enjoyed time on the farms (I loved the goats but our dairy cow farmer was amazing!) Whether you’re a foodie (my boyfriend is a chef), in to nature, or just want to learn more about the driftless area, Marty is your guy! He really tailors his tour to the audience. Everyone should take this tour. I cannot say enough good things!

We had such a marvelous day with Marty on this tour. We ride in the UTV through the beautiful rolling hills and we stopped at a dairy farm, a goat farm, and a cheese factory with lots of yummy samples. It was scenic, relaxing and fun. Marty was knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly and fun. Just a perfect Wisconsin day for a small group. (We were 4). All ages would enjoy this. Perfect for Wisconsin visitors and guests alike!

My favorite part of this experience was being able to experience the beauty of winter while experiencing something completely new and different alongside my family. It was our first time snowshoeing and Teri Richards, our guide, was so patient with us, from helping us with our snowshoes to explaining everything we could expect throughout the trail. She was very knowledgeable with the layout of the trails and had so many interesting facts about the winery’s history to share with us.

The snowshoe tour of the vineyard was great! The guide, Teri, was knowledgeable of the terrain and history of the area. She kept a good pace during the tour for all attending. Great time!

My husband and I had such a great time on the UTV ride. Marty and Teri were great guides and knew a lot about the area. They were very hospitable, down to earth, but also entertaining! The views were gorgeous! The ride was very comfortable. it was great to get outside during a Wisconsin winter!

Several, I enjoyed the view , the beautiful table settings and the company. It was a wonderful day and experience. So happy I went to Wild Hills Winery and took part in this experience. Thanks also for Terri Richards of Ridge and Valley tours for organizing and leading the tours.

Marty grew up on a farm in the area and is very knowledgeable about the local sites and history. We enjoyed visiting a local dairy cow and dairy goat farm. It was nice to learn about how small scale farmers are thriving today. It's not all big corporate farms out there. Interacting with the animals was fun for the kid. We also stopped at a local cheese factory to see some of the locally produced milk turned into yummy cheese. Lots of fun and worth your morning.

Wow! We had a blast! This was a perfect way to spend an afternoon in the Driftless Area. Marty is a fantastic host and travel guide. We learned so much about the area and enjoyed meeting some amazing farmers who do farming the right way.... raising their animals in the most natural ways!👍🏼 It is also a great “foodie” tour. We sampled some amazing food at the farms, winery and orchard we visited. If you appreciate knowing how your food is raised and were it comes from and you enjoy eating, this tour is for you. As a bonus you’ll have Marty to entertain you between stops with history and stories. My husband and I highly recommend this tour and we plan on signing up for the “east coast tour” next year when we come back to the area.

We enjoyed every minute of our West Coast tour with a great host, Marty. He was very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about the places we visited and the area we traveled. From the apple orchard, to the winery, to the yak farm which included old wood/new use, to the pasture raised pigs it was nonstop learning whether we were at the tour stop or on the tour bus. The afternoon just whizzed by in a very enjoyable way.We want to do his EAST coast tour next year. It was a great way to spend an afternoon, even though it was raining.
