Customer service was great with assisting us in booking our trip and the driver was equally helpful and picked us up on time.

I needed a ride from my motel in Carlsbad, California to the San Diego airport. I was extremely impressed that my Super Shuttle ride was on time!! Very comfortable and clean luxury vehicle. The driver (I can't remember his name) said he was from Afghanistan. I found him to be very friendly, polite and respectful. We had an enjoyable conversation during the ride and I arrived to the airport on time! Thank you, so much! I highly recommend Super Shuttle!!

On Monday, November 18, 2019, at approximately 11pm I was a passenger in Super Shuttle van number 760. The prepaid ride was from the San Diego International Airport to Kimpton Solamar Hotel 435 Sixth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101. As we were on route to the hotel the driver stopped at a traffic light on the street parallel to the convention center. The light turned green the vehicles in front of us made left turns. By the time our van reached the intersection the light was red, but the driver ran the red light and entered the intersection anyway. He made the left turn and reached an intersection with train and trolley tracks. As the van approached the train and trolley tracks the railroad crossing gate was coming down, but the driver sped up in an attempt to cross the intersection before the gate closed. He failed! The railroad crossing gate crashed down upon the hood of the van. The sudden impact caused the driver to slam on his brakes, which caused me to be suddenly jerked forward and backwards in my seat. I could not believe that the driver had done something so dangerous with a van full of passengers! When the gate hit the van it went back up. I was shocked that the driver continued with this reckless behavior; instead of him reversing off the tracks, he proceeded to cross the tracks.
When we arrived at my hotel the driver stopped the van across the street from the hotel and explained to me that there was nowhere to park the van in front of the hotel. I got my luggage and carried it across the busy thoroughfare. When I arrived as the entrance of the hotel, I then realized that the hotel had a circular driveway that very easily accommodated the vehicular traffic. I do not understand why he lied and put me out of the van on the street.
To add insult to injury, I received my receipt for this transportation and it had a surcharge for a tip.
I have filed a complaint about the incident with the company via their website; I received an automated response saying that a case manager would contact me within 10 days. No one has contacted me. I called the only phone number listed on the site which is for reservations. There was a prompt on the phone line for complaints, but it just refers you back to the website to file the complaint. In essence, there is no recourse for the reckless service.

When we arrived at the airport, the shuttle would not honor our reservations because viator did not pay the money we gave them for the reservation. We had to pay cash to be taken. The shuttle service was very good but now I’ll have to fight to get my money back for the service I had already paid for. Reservations were done thru TripAdvisor. I’ll follow up when I’m home from vacation while dealing with my breast cancer diagnosis.

We arrived on time. Went to the Super Shuttle desk (an actual wooden desk on a public sidewalk just outside the airport building and asked how long it would take and the attendant advised that we would wait 1 minute with him and 5 to 10 minutes for the shuttle.
When I went to check with the attendant 15 minutes later he very rudely told me to stand on the other side of his desk. As mentioned, his desk is in the middle of the public sidewalk and there is no front or back unless the chair is on"his" side of the desk. Things went downhill from there.
He then said that he had called the drivers a few times but hadn't heard anything and that he wasn't responsible for the drivers. We went back to waiting.
After another 10 minutes I told him I wanted to cancel. He could not have cared less. He offered no apology, gave us no direction how to get our money back or call someone to cancel. He did make it clear that it was up to me to cancel directly with Super Shuttle and gave me a card with its number on it. He did cancel the Shuttle we were waiting for and then, very sarcastically, suggested that I should continue to have a lovely day.
In all this time (40 minutes or so) no Super Shuttle ever showed up.
By the way Uber is by far the best choice at the Airport as there is an endless line of them just outside the airport building .....at least half the price of Super Shuttle.

This vendor did not accept Trip Advisor ticket despite phone calls by Super Shuttle ground personnel. It took a lot of time, waiting, and ultimately the driver said very definitely "We WILL NOT accept this ticket." I had to pay another $20 in cash to be driven to the pier. I'd like a refund!

This service was the worst I've ever had with a shuttle service. 35min late for pick up and the driver was clueless on who he was picking up and where we were going. Then he drove out of his way passing my stop to drop off another passenger 15min away.So now we are doubling back to drop me off at my hotel which we passed. It has literally taken more than an hour now to reach my hotel which was 13min away from the airport as per Google Maps. I will never use this service again.

had to wait for a bit for the shuttle ride from the airport to the hotel. seemed odd because there were 2 other shuttles sitting there while I (and several others) waited.
Otherwise, ride was fine and timely pickup coming back. I would use them again.

Après m'être présenté à un guichet d'accueil de Supper Shuttle, on m'a donné le numéro du Van. Après quelques minutes d'attente, le Van est arrivé. Accueil sympathique par le conducteur du Van. Après quelques petites minutes, nous sommes partis. Seul passager du Van. Service impeccable. Ne pas oublier de laisser un pourboire (gratuity) de 15 à 20% du prix du voyage.

I have loved Trip Advisor. It has served me well in the past. HOWEVER, using Trip Advisor for limosine service between San Diego International and downtown hotels did not go well. I printed the documents Trip Advisor sent. However, when I presented it for payment, it was not accepted. I had to pay twice as much on the spot with a credit card. Then, when I returned home and contacted Trip Advisor for a refund, it took two phone calls talking with 5 different people over 30 minutes before the refund was given. Very disappointed.

Super shuttle has been "more than fair" in compensating me for my inconvenience. I have asked tripadvisor to remove my very negative San Diego supershuttle report.

I am staying at the Urban Boutique Hotel in Little Italy. I would like to hear of anybody's experience using the Super Shuttle from the airport to this hotel. I was told that the driver from Super Shuttle needs to go in to the Hotel to get a voucher for the fare? Is this how it works? Also, do we need to make advance reservations for the shuttle ride to the hotel?

For voucher reservations, you need to give the voucher to the driver. You can also prepay with a credit card online, through the app, or over the phone.
