I managed to do my sky dive 4th lucky due to bad weather. The place itself is run down but please let that put you off. All the guys at tilstock are all so happy and very very experienced in skydiving. Safety is very important to them. I wasn’t nervous I was put at ease by my instructor Hans and my camera lady Jenny. Just a very surreal experience that I would definitely do again. 🤟

What a fantastic day, staff nice and friendly, loved the safety video.
Both Dan (parachute) and Gary (photographer) were brilliant.
W-O-W, how epic freefall and parachuting is, will definitely do it again soon,
just got to choose a charity.
A must do of ten things to do before you expire.

Incredible experience. I'm still buzzing. I can't thank Ryan enough for my brilliant tandem skydive today. It was my first and I would do it again tomorrow. I felt like I was in very safe hands, was well informed and put at ease. The whole team were so supportive and it was a great vibe for beginning to end.

Absolutely Fantastic experience….. Ben was the best instructor he made me feel completely at ease with his wit and humour. This was a skydive for charity and I would highly recommend Tilstock!

Absolutely brilliant. Can it fault the staff…….. formerly, reassuring and clearly very experienced. The whole thing was straight forward and most enjoyable. Had a fantastic time. Would highly recommend

It was my first time doing skydiving. I was pretty nervous. But the instructors were very friendly and got my confidence up thoughout the process. They check all the equipments and test if you are attached to the instructor a few times. My instructor Ben was great and so was the camera man Dan.

My sky dive was on 14 September. I was doing this on behalf of Birmingham Hospice who looked after my sister. Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly staff who helped me to sign in. There was a Cafe on site so was able to grab a Coffee before we were called to be suited up. The safety video was clear to follow and any questions were answered. We then met up with the person we were to be strapped to, for me this was Hans for my Tandem Instructor and Pete as my Camera flyer. They were both super helpful and made me feel relaxed throughout the suiting up and climb to 13,000ft. All through the jump Hans was chatting to me and making sure I enjoyed the ride. Pete took some amazing photos and videos and I even got to fly myself which was awesome. It was an amazing experience and I definitely want to go again.

What an amazing experience. I went with my daughter we were booked in for 10am and got there about 9.40 . The lady on reception asked if we had eaten and advised me that it would be better if I did have some food. My daughter booked for photos to be taken and I opted for the video. You then watch a video that gives you guidelines on what to expect.Unfortunately it was cloudy in the morning so we couldn't go up. At about 1.45 the sun came through and our names were called. You then get to meet your instructor and get into your harness by this time I felt a mixture of excitement and panic! But the instructors are brilliant laughing and keeping you talking so to try to keep you from being too nervous. You practise your banana, the shape your body has to be when you leave the plane! You are then taken to the plane, the one thing I really noticed is they are very safety conscious not just checking your harness but each others equipment as well. Then your on the plane, OMG I still can not believe I did this.
The leaving the plane is like nothing you'll ever do again ( unless like me you want to do it again ) You drop from 13000 to 5000 ft so fast all the time I was being videod,
Then the parachute opens , my instructor Andy had already asked if I was up for some fun and I had said yes, he spun me round and round and let me take control of the chute which is fabulous . The views are amazing. It really is one off the bucket list,I haven't stopped talking about it ! The only dissappointment of the day was that the instructor who was videoing me both cameras had failed ( so another reason to do again!!!! ) so I didn't get to see myself coming out of the plane, I do have some photos from on the plane and coming into land though as my daughter had wanted photos.
All I can say if you have ever thought about doing this , then get it booked you'll have the most Fantastic Experience !!!!!!!!!!
Just a tip take something to do as you may have to wait around if the weather is not playing ball.

Skydive Tilstock Freefall Club is as good as it get’s. Welcoming, friendly and totally professional in every respect, it’s a wonderful experience that is not to be missed. A Big Thank You to all of the staff and particularly Hans my Instructor for keeping himself and therefore both of us safe and making my fourth Tandem Skydive the best one yet. To sum up fifty five seconds of Freefall in one word, then for me personally that can only be Blissful!!! If you are considering doing a Skydive for whatever reason, then I can’t recommend Tilstock Freefall Club highly enough. It’s a special place, full of great people, who all share a not so common connection and really do make you feel that you belong and are a part of it.

Wow I have only just seen this! You get offered to pay for a DVD and photos and someone jumps out and videos you, best experience and pictures ever! Definitely recommend and yes I had my loved ones watch from the ground x

Hi,
The minimum age is 16, although between 16 and 18 you will need parental consent, there is no maximum age, however anyone over 60 will need to come and have an assessment carried out by our Chief Instructor.
