I paid for 3 nights before flying to Cayman, when I we got there they said ther was no booking (they forgot to do it) and had no rooms available. They help to find a new place but charged me the difference between both houses because they said the other place was more expensive (we had no other choice). Our decision to go to Cayman was taken based in the possibilty to stay in a cheap place) so we had to adjust all our plans to a lower budget because of this unforeseen expense. We also lost more than two hours of our first day in Cayman due to their mistake.
This post is long overdue! I moved down to Grand Cayman in August. Martin and Susan were very accommodating while I was searching for an apartment (for close to a month). The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Fresh mangoes from the property would usually be left in the fridge by Martin and Susan. Great stay overall. Thank you to Martin and Susan!
Friends of our stayed here and we visited them. Really a hidden but still very central spot. The owner is a very well-known business man on the island and offers the best advice for dining and wining !
I was traveling solo and didn’t need anything fancy, and this was a cheap and nice option! Everything was clean and felt safe. The bathroom was a bit crunched and you had to sit sideways on the toilet, but other than that, it was a nice stay. Very quiet! Little tricky to find in west bay. It’s location is away from a lot of the main tourist stuff so a rental car is a must. The owner is very nice and personable! Have great advice on what to see and where to eat!
We enjoyed our stay so much last year that decided to return. We experienced numerous upgrades as TV was installed (but who needs that when visiting the islands) much more ubandance of fruits and vegetable for visitors to harvest. Complimentary coffee and tea in the morning. Same great friendly hosts with tons of informations for the best dining/wining/diving experiences. We found that 7 mile was much more crowded than last year so we really enjoyed our spot. For the first time ever we visited barkers national park which is only 1 mile from the house and went kite surfing.
