This is the worst campsite we have ever visited . The campsite is very run down and needs a complete overall . There is one disgusting toilet where the entrance door leads off the chemical toilet . The shower is located in a run down garage / outhouse , again in need of urgent cleaning and updating . The tap for the fresh water is also in an awful state . We will never be retuning .

Fantastic hosts nothing was too much trouble, upon arrival we were given a choice of where to pitch which was great. We couldn't get the electric on, one call to the hosts and they were out to show us what we were doing wrong the electric worked perfectly it was us that were the problem! The site was very relaxed with where kids could be kids, lovely views it was a great find we were disappointed not to be spending more time here and we will be back as it a great find!!

A friendly welcome, a small campsite however we were given the option of pitching wherever we wanted and we chose to pitch quite close to the field so we had a lovely view of the Haybale’s, horses and cows in the other fields. Really felt like we were the only ones there and very tranquil. Although the M62 ran across the bottom of the field it was quite nice to see and hear very much in the distance busy life going past whilst we were nice and relaxed. Great aerial coverage for the TV too. we will definitely be back and using this as a base when we visit family in the area.

Firstly having read one review we arrived with some apprehension, totally no need at all. This site was perfect for what we needed. From Friday to Monday we had a lovely time. Janet was a very friendly host who told us all about the fantastic steam train just a short walk away. Brilliant day out we had a ball. The Shower was lovely and the surroundings were very pleasant. This was a short unexpected weekend which turned out to be one of my best so far this year and great value for money. Thank you we will be returning.

Lovely caravan site. Amenities very good. Friendly hosts. Lovely views all round. Ideal for bus routes to bury, Rochdale, Manchester City centre. Will be back again. Very handy for us to visit family and friends. Ideal for motorwayconnection. Well recommended.
