Las habitaciones están limpias y tienen aire acondicionado, el restaurante es muy agradable porque está al lado del río, la comida es buena pero necesitan un poco más de organización con el desayuno buffet. Este hotel es una de las mejores opciones si te vas a quedar en El Naranjo, lo que más nos gustó es que tiene salida al río, nos lo pasamos genial nadando allí.

We had the best stay at this perfect oasis. It was our second stop on a 12 day road trip through the region... an unplanned stop that I am so glad we made.
We were coming from Cascadas Minas Viejas and decided to head to El Naranjo for the night. There are a couple of stunning waterfalls along the El Salto river we wanted to check out. Hotel Huasteca Express was the perfect home base to explore the beautiful river and relax.
The hotel sits river side and has direct access for a refreshing dip. If river swimming isn't to you liking there is a gorgeous pool, situated in a central courtyard and surrounded my mature palms. The pool was a most delightful respite from the warm afternoon sun and it didn't hurt that the onsite bar/restaurant was serving a steady flow of cold beer and tart margaritas poolside. The restaurant also serves up very tasty local fare. We enjoyed a simple and delicious dinner with nice views of the river.
The entire staff were extremely accommodating, kind and helpful. We greatly enjoyed chatting with the lovely woman at the front desk, her warmth and hospitality really set the tone for a truly lovely stay.
This area of Mexico is simply magical. The scenery is incredible and otherworldly, the people are kind and generous... if you are thinking of making a trip to experience this beautiful region do not hesitate to book a stay at Huasteca Express, you won't be disappointed.
