Las habitaciones en esta casa antigua son de la época. El propietario le encanta la casa y la comunidad en que éstas viven. No sólo lo recomendaría la casa pero también visitar Pontiac si no ha estado allí en un rato. Hay nuevos restaurantes y pubs brew y unas cuantas personas más jóvenes se han trasladado a la zona y trabajar en el centro. Divertido lugar para visitar si estás en la zona y un buen lugar para alojarse

The house was built 1900 & is in great repair. The owners are so interesting & know a great deat about the area. The bed was comfy & the room bright & cheery (French room). Sharing the bath was not awkward to me as it was very convenient to the bedroom, you could help yourself to fresh towels (& robes!) anytime, also there were only 3 lodging rooms, so not a crowd at all. Breakfast was very delicious, well presented and served in a lovely dining room. Coffee was excellent. The grounds & home, with their gardens and antiques & books help you feel at home and provide an open feeling, though I would not walk in the immediate neighborhood at this time. The home itself is very secure without being confining. As a woman alone, the owners watched out for me, & spent as much time with me as I wanted. They are very busy, so not in your way, but there if you need them, in short order. They are always open to improvement, so suggestions are welcome. This place will only get better. I DO hope to go back, if I return to MI & the Pontiac area. It is not a good property for the wheelchair bound or those who can't take stairs. There is no elavator.

We stayed here in April 2011 and found it to be a place where the hosts couldn't do enough for us. This is a very large old house located on a residential street with other similar sized homes. Parking is a little awkward as it is a single driveway. The owners live here on the 3rd floor and seem to always be available. There are 3 antique-filled bedrooms on the 2nd floor and they each share 1 standard bathroom. There were room-darkening shades and a small TV. The bed and bedding was extremely comfortable and sumptuous. (I noticed on the web-site there is a 4th room with its own bathroom but we are unsure where it could be.) There were full-sized bath products for guests' use in the bathroom and the towels are plush and plentiful.
In the common hallway there is a min-fridge for all to share and contained complimentary bottled water. The home is 2 houses away from a major road and the traffic could be heard at night. There is a large living room on the main floor with a fabulous fireplace and the dining room has a table large enough to accommodate all guests. The first morning breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, toasted bagels, fresh fruit and bacon, while the 2nd morning we had french toast served with a delicious homemade apple syrup/chutney, Canadian bacon and fresh fruit. The surrounding area doesn't really offer any place to walk to but the house itself has many curiosities and is very interesting. The hosts just want you to be comfortable and were quite agreeable.
