The place was filthy, the parking a joke and the property overpriced. In the description of the cottage it says "a wonderful property inside and out ...." We failed to see any of this because it was covered in dog's hairs for a start. We tried using the vacuum cleaner but it was useless.The upstairs bedroom was in our opinion, really dangerous when getting out of bed plus the ceiling was so low you couldn't stand up straight. The drive leading to the cottage was so narrow and then it was very difficult to park once you arrived at the property. You ended up doing a six point turn to turn the car ready to drive out, damaging your tyres into the bargain.

A comfortable three bedroom bungalow. Warm and fully furnished with all the mod-cons. Twenty minutes walk to Burnham-on-Sea town and sea front. We had jam, biscuits, tea, coffee and milk left for us. The beds were super comfortable, the accommodation was ultra clean and the enclosed garden was safe for our four legged friends. The communication with the holiday organising company was outstanding. The only downside was the two bucket chairs in the living room - they were not very comfortable. A second sofa may have been more comfortable. A highly recommended holiday destination and we hope to return. Thank you.

This beautiful little Victorian seaside town has been thoroughly spoilt by the new parking restrictions on the sea front. It has become a one way system and only a few cars for the disabled to park. No consideration has been given to the elderly who don't have a disabled parking disc and therefore very difficult for them to walk up or down the hills after parking in the back streets. A disaster for the local cafes, pier and people who want to sit in cars to see the sunsets and sit in car eating their food on a wet day Fabulous place worth a visit but you will find nowhere to park.

A beautiful house and grounds with perfect attentative staff, very good food and rooms, even with fancy Japanese bidet/loos, What more could you ask for? Well there is a sea view too! we had an excellent visit and would recommend to all who would like to try a 'Downton Abbey ' lifestyle
