Hi Barbara, This is Simon, just want to air my concerns about your accomodation B&B offer - and that of the lady in the cafe who recommended me to you. The owner of the tea rooms with all the awards, yet some poor reviews, such a staff member sat at a table that was being prepared for a customer! Perhaps trying to get closer to me? I didn't mind! But decided to act as a customer and not engage in flirting with her. The owner after chatting with her about her grey hair which she mentions on her menu, tells me that the tap water in Ballycastle is good, the milk in the tea was alot better than I've tasted for ages, best cup of tea, but the sandwiches and the menu was limited, to think of all the awards, the place is just a glorified simple cafe with a few tweaks, telling customers how early she is up in the morning, and how she bakes own bread, ham etc found me your B&B - which was very nice of her. I agreed that I was happy with the room, I had a bath and had a rest in the single bed upstairs pulling it out, to a position that I could see the window, and about 9pm, I became restless having a terrible fungal infection all over my feet, and itchy all over my body. I thought to go to Ballycastle to see if there is anything open, after checking the room with EMF readers - a gaussmeter for low frequency magnetic radiation - I found the readings high coming from underneath the floor in the bedroom and in the back room also coming from the walls, the only place where the reading was completely low for a good nights sleep, was the room, along the back wall, in the back bedroom. Who ever has done the electrical work in the house, has not used shielded cable. Dirty Electricity is to be avoided, just check out geovital com I hope you understand, that in fact having accepted the room, and the rate being 40 Euros, to include breakfast, I said that I would be up at 9am for full irish breakfast. I was frightened staying in such a house, when I thought if the upstairs is all for guests, where do the owners live? And all the over the top decoration for tourists, yet I found having all these beds in the rooms a bit crazy, and positioned in such manner and to back this up, all I needed was my EMF Meter Readings - to inform me that the accomodation is hocus pocus - what sort of cables are running underneath your floor boards and around your shower? I would suggest getting an electrician. I'd be very interested to find out, why the readings are 3 Milligauss plus around the floor of the bedroom where you gave me a bed? When people travel on holidays, they need a place, a quiet space, not with leaking emf's, as well as wifi, but the wifi levels I checked were stable enough, also frightened of cordless phones. The upstairs is just a converted attic. it's not a true upstairs. I hope this is helpful, and that you will come to understand, my dissatisfaction in the accomodation, and how strong willed I am to stand my ground, if I can. and I think it's better if I share with you as I mentioned to you about blooming baskets, getting drip hose line, as perhaps you didn't know, and this is not fair, if you do not understand my motives. This will allow you to have a better quality of life, and I hope bring peace to each other. I'm self employed, since 2001 - employing people, dealing with customers, there are certain standards, and sometimes I get customers who may not be happy, so I have to accept if I'm not suitable for certain jobs, as well with a recent news letter from Dublin Zoo which reminds me of huge deforestation in places such as indonesia, I would ask why you have few trees around your home. when the lesson from the Ceide Fields! the effects that deforestation has on this particular region. I would like to thank you again for hosting me for late afternoon, early evening, but it takes time to decide on whether a room is right, a guest under the circumstances, I was very tired at the time, but what happened when I woke up! It's like almost - "The boss is back" - Where is the respect? We must ask ourselves among us, through better communication, as well as employing professionals who are honest to do any electrical work or any other jobs, The bath at the front of the house the way it's cut out, I don't see this in your group of photos. It's ok to be handy for somethings, other things leave to the professionals. - Irish breakfast - is well known link to a need for heart surgery. Barbara - under the circumstances Barbara I would like to pay you, I did offer to pay you on arrival, but in the last B&B I stayed with my girlfriend, we paid up front, and the next morning a huge spider was found at the bottom of the bed. A large house spider. But it was too late to do anything about it, as we paid cash. But I still have the video of the spider. But didn't sent it to the owner of the B&B, I also do think that if I pay for the accomodation, i will be able to write a review, and I think the review I will make will be poor. I hope that you relate to me, and see me as a once off suprise, and it has been interesting that we are being challenged, as through being challenged, it pushes us to grow and to become better people. You'll have to see the evening, as though it was one of your kids home, that you haven't seen for many many many years, and that they shed some light on your life. I hope we can remain friends, and that you may wish to up date me on any improvements. I'd love to hear of your progress, Another thing for improving plant growth is to use a water ioniser - - called Via Acqua - it's an electrical charge that goes into the water, the nutrients become more available to the plant, hence - alot more growth, used by Mr. Lettuce 40 acres of green houses in Lusk, Co.Dublin.
