Limpio, bonito y a buen precio! Se recomienda! La estancia es cómoda, el hotel es bastante familiar, ideal para pasar un fin de semana con tu Familia. El hotel esta en buena ubicación cerca del malecón, tiendas, bares y puntos de atracción!!

At the time of this writing los cabos rate was 4 out of 5, which is why we selected it for the night of 20/12 when stopping by progreso. While room is large and equipped with kitchen, place was not clean, bathroom was dirt. No windows to the outside, pool is a joke. Cockroaches at night. We didnt leave and asked our money back as it was late to find an alternative. I would hardly find any good reason to go there again.

Los Cabos is a great place to stay! It is SAFE, clean, nicely furnished, and staffed by wonderful people. For the price & value it cant be beat.
The manager (and some others) speak English and are very helpful. It has a full sized pool, cable T.V., A/C, wireless internet, kitchenettes, and is overall a very private building. A 24 hour front desk attendant provides security for the building and any visitors.
The only "bad" things are tiny ants (found at ALL beach locations), no toilet paper allowed to be flushed, and it is located in a busy part of town so you cant sleep with the windows open (but the air conditioing unit provides a nice sound that drowns out the outside disturbances).
It is convienently located within walking distance to the market (mercado), banks, the grocery store, and any other service that is needed. It is three blocks to the beach where local fishermen bring in their early morning catch and a short distance to the public fishing pier and the main beachfront tourist boardwalk (malecon) where the cruise ship docks.
Plenty of friendly people in the area, lots of taxi cabs & buses to get around, and safe to walk anywhere. I will be returning next year.

Progresso and the extended area of Merida is fastly becoming one of my favorite places in Mexico. During a trip in mid January 2006 while staying at a somewhat run down beach front hotel on "el Malecon" or the seaside pormenade I met a couple from Canada who told me about the Los Cabos. Turned out to be GREAT advice. Los Cabos is very new, very clean and the helpfulness of the staff just can't be matched. The rooms are each suites complete with kitchens and colorful tropical furnishings.
If you go ask for Jorge. The man knows the area and will help you in any way possible. During a recent stay I found my jacket had some how been torn. In speaking with him he said he thought his aunt could sew it up. She did an outstanding job on it.
Not only would I stay there again... I will. My wife and I will be there again in late Jan. 2007. Will post photos when I return.

it was my first time in progreso...the hotel manager was very helpfull and charming.he even took the time to take me around town in his car,,the studio i lived in was very clean and quiet,nice room with t.v. and air-conditionned i felt at home in this little suite...nothing fancy but very comfortable..i will surely go back..thanks Richard
