Beautiful presented period cottage lovely touches from the owners. We we greeted by the owner who explained everything about the cottage and showed us round also told us about things we could do and the area. A lovely touch having homemade scones and jam plus everyday essential waiting for us. We would recommend this cottage for couples looking for a break on the Norfolk Boards. We will be returning in the near future.

This cottage is very well-located for the Norfolk Broads. It was easy to find and had parking directly outside. I had a great welcome from the owners and generally had a very enjoyable time. The cottage is clean and well-equipped with a very pleasant courtyard garden. There are shops and pubs a very short distance away too. The only drawback for me, aside from some difficulty operating the shower, was the absence of wifi. I was obliged to find pubs and restaurants in order to access the internet. In all other respects this was a really excellent place to stay.

Easter weekend
Had a lovely weekend in the village of Ludham from where it was a great place to make base for exploring around the Norfolk broads and Great Yarmouth if it’s the seaside you want.
Ludham village itself has all the amenities you’ll need with a supermarket,post office,butchers and a tearoom as well as the kings arms pub where you’ll find a great friendly atmosphere and good beers and good food served and of course if you prefer to stay in then where better than bakers cottage, a beautifully appointed one bedroom cottage a stones throw from the pub.
You’ll find everything you need to cook your own food in a kitchen although small it’s fully equipped with everything you’ll need to cook with, the living room has a large flat screen television and DVD player with a selection of films to watch and there’s a selection of books if readings your thing, upstairs there’s a double bedroom with on suite bathroom and another flat screen television,
If the weathers nice then you’ll find a lovely little patio area at the back which is a great sun trap.
After having a comfortable and enjoyable stay and being made to feel welcome by the owners I would recommend bakers cottage and Ludham to anyone thinking of going there.

A very well furnished, cute and cosy cottage, we loved it !
Bakers cottage is a very well furnished, cute and cosy cottage. We loved our stay and would highly reccomend it. The cottage itself has all the amenities one would want on a holiday, a fully kitted out kitchen, comfy sofa & bed and warm shower. Briget and her Husband are great hosts too. Ludham itself is a small little town with a decent Pub and shop. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the Broads and the Norfolk coast. The boat hire yards is only a 5 minutes drive, while it's closed in winter I'm sure it would be a good place to hire a boat in summer months.. The coast is only a 30 mins drive and I would recommend the trips that the hosts have listed in their very helpful 'guide'.

Lovely quiet little cottage a real gem of a place
Had a lovely mini break great weather and lots of rest and relaxation.
Cottage was brilliant. Not too small with all we needed for a great stay.
Bed was super comfortable as was sofa. I can't wait to return. I would recommend 100%.

A cosy hideaway in the heart of the Norfolk Broads.
We had a pleasant stay in Ludham. The cottage was perfect for a quiet weekend getaway with walking trails and boat hire just minutes from the front door.

A small but perfect cottage.
The cottage is ideally situated for travelling around Norfolk. It has everything you could possibly need with lots of extra little touches that made our stay very relaxing and special. The owners were lovely and did everything to ensure we had a wonderful stay. I can highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back. We didn’t want to leave!
