The nice place in the countryside
We enjoyed that place vary much. It's close to the nature, you can see the domestic animals around, you can buy the best quality of cheese, palinka and eggs just from the farmer. You can have a bonfire or grill if you like. In the forest nearby you can pick the mushrooms. If you get tired you can swim in the pool. The owner can speak English very well, so it's easy to ask him about the local attractions in Maramures.

Recommended
We stayed with another family for a week in August in the house. Great quiet location, many facilities - pool, billiard, tennis court. Good place to stay and spend time with family or friends. Close to Baia Mare. The owner very hospitable and helpful, gave good advises about places to visit. Don't skip the visit to local farm with great cheese and palinka. We would happily return to stay in the house in the future.

Most excellent
Nice house with an interesting history, couldn't ask for a more hospitable host. Would recomond Baia Mare in general, and Marius' accomodations in particular.

Coin de paradis
Cette maison et son jardin sont un véritable coin de paradis. Maison spacieuse avec 6 grandes chambres et 4 salle de bain. Les 2 terrasses (l'une donnant sur la piscine et l'autre sur le jardin) et l'immense jardin sont très agréables.
Marius et Oana sont des gens super gentils qui se couperaient en 4 pour leurs hôtes.
On y retournera, c'est sûr.

Fantastic place!
Wow! Incredible place! Marius and her wife are both excelent people. Always triying to help you and staying around helping with your days at the place. Vila Roseta have an amazing green area. I highly reccomend to visit this place to everybody and live the peaceful on this place. 10 points in all!!!

Wonderful house with everything you need -- including pets!
We were a group of 15 friends staying in Villa Roseta for a week. Our stay was fantastic! Marius was a wonderful host and provided us with everything we needed. The locals in nearby towns and villages were some of the most friendly and welcoming people we had ever met. We particularly enjoyed the addition of various four-legged friends to the villa, especially the cutest little kitten! The villa itself is very spacious (the pictures do not do it justice I think) and there is plenty of outdoor space for relaxing and eating. The maramures countryside is stunning, and I would particularly recommend taking a walk up from the house to the end of the valley and through the wood to the next village, which is just idyllic, complete with a tiny traditional wooden church. All in all it was a fantastic holiday. Thanks Marius!

Wonderful secluded villa
The house is set in wild flower meadows and surrounded by woods - completely secluded (other than the unobtrusive Marius and his wife next door). However it is only 15 mins to Baia Mare and a 5 min drive to the nearest shop - so it really is the best of both.
With 6 bedrooms and aircon upstairs it is spacious and comfortable enough easily for 13 people and there is ample room downstairs both in and out to eat. The kitchen is well equipped with more than the normal villa and additionally there is a good BBQ set up just outside.
The pool table was great even if it was a bit too hot to start playing ping pong on the table in the garden (despite the fact it has it's own shade!).
Marius could not have done more for us. He pointed us in the direction of some wonderful restaurants "Pastravas Alex" and "Hanul Teilor", organised a visit to a local farm for us where we had lunch and arranged for the whole family to visit the village potter where we made, painted and had fired some lovely pots (and bought some of the potters - which were much better). Either he or his wife were about if we needed anything but we never felt that they were intrusive.
Loads to do in Baia Mare and the whole of Maramures. If you're here on a Sunday or religious holiday make sure you visit the small villages as people still wear traditional dress to church and it is wonderful to see.
If all that gets to much then just jump into the pool ar the house and relax. It is heaven!
