Perfect apartment for visiting West and North Yorkshire
Great for dogs (and humans!) and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The outside area isn’t completely enclosed so Stella (dog) managed to find a way out but she is a bit of an escape artist anyway! 🤣 Nice little garden and patio area with furniture to sit out but view is of a builder’s yard, not the canal. We cleaned the table; if they pay a cleaner, he / she should really be attending to this too.
Absolutely everything you need for a short break - washing machine and dishwasher were a bonus. Beds and living room furniture are comfy. No mirror in twin room and no full length mirror anywhere so nowhere to do your hair / make up.
Owners kindly leave you dishwasher tablets and tea towels etc. More than 1 toilet roll would have been preferable for a 4 night stay though; we didn’t expect to have to go and buy more. Plenty of shops nearby though.
Clean throughout with nice fresh bedding.
Great that they don’t charge extra for dogs …always think the surcharge for pets is silly any way. Lots of fresh towels. Shower is fab.
Great location for walks along the canal or trips out and Todmorden is a cute town. The market is ace and the flea market was great. Never seen a pub in a market before; the coffee bar and butchers / delis inside are top quality.
Only minor issues … keysafe is tricky to get into and really needs a fridge with a freezer compartment - it was a hot few days and I really wanted to buy some ice creams; only about 10 channels on the great sized TV. Railway on one side and busy road on the other but they didn’t disturb our sleep much…we had earplugs so would advise others to do the same!
Still worth 5 stars ✨
